    If I buy a set of those traction mats for the rear wheels, will those will help get the truck out if I do get stuck? I guess it depends if the front wheels go in deep too.

    If I had known a year ago that I was moving to RGV, I would have gotten the truck in 4WD.

    You can go to the beach without getting stuck if you stay where’s there’s pavement but if you go towards the access then you might depends how loose the sand is.

    If you go to 4 wheels parts tomorrow let me know what they have. Online didn’t see much of what they have in store. Most of the stuff was to be shipped to store within 4-5 days. I could use a set also.

    With regards to trading in for a 4x4, I'm not sure that I'll make that jump. I'll need to take a look at a number of things. Not sure about running out and buying a 2019. With 6700 miles on a truck that I bought new with 9 miles on in in July 2018, I really don't want to trade it in. I got a really good deal on this truck (sticker was $44k; walked away with $33k) and I'd like to get my money out of it. I do know that I'd get damned near all my money back if I were to trade it in. Like I said, I'd need to take a look at a number of things.
