Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Awesome, as soon as I get this figured out, I will send Mark a message. There's an issue with clearance at work. I have to park in a structure at work, and there is a seven foot height limit. I'm currently running 275/60/20, and have just under five inches before my truck becomes a convertible.

Hi Mark, where's your shop? My office is near the airport, maybe I can swing by sometime to pick your brain.
I hear that from my wife every time she sees me searching for parts. Between this and hunting/camping gear, the wallet is pretty thin already.

Perfect. 5" is all you need. (that's not what she said) 3/1 lift and 35" wheels is right around 5".

Shop is in Fremont near Tesla. Shoot me a dm or text! I’m not always at the shop.

Yeah, I want to move up to 35s with the lowest lift possible. hahahaha So far, I've put together that I want to run the Camburg UCA with Moog ball joints, the Deaver mini pack for about 1.5" in the rear, and hopefully no more than two inches in the front. I was shooting for the Method 701 wheels in 17s just to get as much meat for tires as possible. The truck has taken some pretty questionable journeys already. A couple winters ago, when we had tons of rain, I went out scouting for pigs with a friend and crossed water that was at the top of my tires. We've driven down roads that were there going in, only to try and come back out and that road no longer be there.

Crazy, I grew up building cars over in that area, off Industrial Drive near Dando's and Fastline. I know that area well, got many tickets back there and got in trouble trying to sneak onto the NUMMI test track way before Tesla bought the place.

Do the lift, leave the existing wheels and tires, go to work. Check clearance, then you know what you can get away with for wheels and tires.

I just got Method 702's... getting installed on Saturday. Problem with the 701's and 702's is the 0 offset. That with 35's and only a 2" lift is going to rub everything. You would definitely need a CMC and will probably have to grind away a good chunk of your front bumper. Getting an aftermarket front bumper will really help alot.

I hope Mark can weld then! I don't mind doing the body mount chop, I just want to make sure I get the plates and get it done right so nothing rusts. I plan to keep the stock bumpers though, for legality reasons I want to avoid steel or aluminum aftermarket bumpers.

These are pretty much the only two pictures I have at the moment. A friend has video of my truck at a water crossing, and you can see my truck get picked up and shifted by the current, but the file is too big to send. For those in the bay area, these were taken on property behind Mission Peak in Fremont.

The squirrel population on that property was getting out of hand. Sometimes, you need to thin the herd.
