    Hello All,

Treated myself to an extravagant new Tundra and I couldn't be more stoked! I find myself obsessed with it and searching for cool things to set it apart. '17 TRD Pro in cement from BC, Canada. So far no upgrades but certainly a few on the way. What's everyone running for an offset on their rims? I've got plans for 295/70/18's come spring. I believe from what I've read on here, that I can get away with just removing the front mud flap. Here's a pict... still got the plastic on the wheels!

    Welcome and sweet truck!!!

Check out the tire and wheel section for wheel offset. Brian did a really good job on that thread.

I've ordered N-fab RKR rails with no step, just want the protection for the paint and underside. I also have the order going in Monday for a set of Methods to run Nitto ridge grapplers (295/70/18's). I'm having trouble deciding on offset though, I was thinking 18/5.75 but they also come in 0/5. I like the look of fender flares but I worry about them holding water behind them and causing rust. The TRD cold air intake is already in the mail and I plan on adding an N-fab radius pre-runner front bumper in the spring. Don't want to get too carried away, it is a Pro after all. It sure rides like a dream compared to my old jacked up 3/4 dodge!

Congrats, nice truck and welcome. Careful with a 0 offset. I may be wrong but I think you'll have rubbing issues.

I went out hunting today. Frozen on the way in but soup on the way out... damn those stocker tires are terrible. Shoulda listened to my tire guy and sold them and put on something more aggressive with studs. Instead, i siped and studded the stockers. Good on the hwy and in the snow but holy crap, I was almost stuck out there needing a pull in the mud today!

Thanks for the info! That's what I figured and told the guy that I ordered my rims from. He was saying he just wanted to make sure with Method on their recommendation before ordering. Now I just have to decide between Nitto Ridge Grapplers and Cooper STT Pros.

    Good deal man!

I own both of those tires too actually. The STT Pro is my favorite Mud Terrain I've ran so far(run them on my Expo built 4runner), likewise the Nitto Ridge grappler is an amazing aggressive AT(have them on my Tundra for DD/tow/work).
If you don't absolutely NEED a tire as aggressive as the Cooper, I'd run the ridge grapplers. The ridge grappler rides like a much less aggressive tire and is insanely quiet for how meaty they look. I was blown away when they first got mounted and my old Trail grapplers were gone. The Coopers have proven very well rounded by MT standards, also one of the more quiet MT's. Cant really comment on wear on either of these as both sets of tires have been on my rigs under a year.
Hard to go wrong with either of those tires! Good choices!

I thought I wanted a white one and was going to have to wait for ever, turned this one down originally. So glad I went back and reconsidered, they had a scion on the lot the same for an example. A deposit, short 2 week wait and here we are. I've yet to see another truck on the road the same colour, love it!
