What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

No, I haven’t installed yet. I’ve been out of town for a while and still will be some time until i have the time to do it. Just part hoarding for now. I’ll be sure to post the results once I do them though

 

Added right side blind spot cam.



Found this hanging loose under panel at drivers right knee. Maybe for glass breakage sensor I don't have. Right next to TPMS reset button.



And OMG, look at the shitty plastic 6x9 speaker.

 

That plug sits in the little spot I circled here, I have taken the dash panel off a few times recently. Guessing it’s just for a feature we don’t have.

 

I added a dent into the bedside. First dent / scratch that she has.




Unfortunately it was self inflicted. I got a new quadcopter yesterday and it is stupid fast. Not sure how fast it was going when it slammed into the truck but it made a hell of a racket. I'm actually surprised at how little damage there was.

The quadcopter was nearly unscathed. The SD card popped out and I broke a couple of props. I hope I caught the impact on video.

 

Badge delete, color matched mirror covers, shorty antenna, and center console organizer. Cement door handles, front bumper covers, surround, and bulge on the way. Going to keep Limited chrome grille insert for TSS for now. Whats everyones thought on the TRD 4X4 decal?? Keep it or remove it?

Love the blind spot cam. Is there an activation for it or is it always on?

Either/or. I can leave it on our tap the cam button on radio. Really wish it would activate when I hit the right blinker.

 

I checked the SD card and it didnt catch the crash. The last 10 seconds are corrupted. Must not have saved before the SD card ejected from the impact. It would have been worth the dent if I'd got HD video out of it. I'm gonna have to tape the SD card in so it doesnt pop out anymore.

 

Just don't wreck it anymore and the sdcard problem will solve itself. LOL

I have the A119 V3 that I installed last week. No rear camera, waiting for the A129 to go 4K and I'll swap it out. Someone posted this as an option for the rear cam mount. Maybe it'll help.

Wish they had one for the console trey, but they don't include it. They do a great job of all the door pockets, door handle cups and even that long skinny trey on the console.

It it just regular Bedslide 42x65, that I've replaced the plywood, installed new carpet (HomeDepot $13) and reused metal.

 

I didn’t like how you could see the white pinch weld between the steps and the front fender. So made them a little more “stealthy” haha

 

Thank you sir! I haven’t tried beadmaker yet. I go through a ton of this stuff so $20 for 2 gallons is a steal. Do you dilute the beadmaker for spraying? I may try it because I’m just never happy settling with something I already like, haha.

 

I know. I crashed my first one several times. Then bought one I don't want to crash. I have gotten into the trees a little bit. Still don't know how to fly it real well. Good portion of the area is off limits due to local AFB and airports. But at least this one will stop and hover if I let go of the sticks. (DJI Phantom 4)
