So I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a set of 295/60r20 Falken Wildpeak A/T3W. I've done some research and decided these are a good bang for the buck sort of deal. Good reviews on tread life, road-noise, ext.

I wanted to hear any thoughts or words of wisdom from ya'll before I ordered them. Any thoughts?

They get great reviews but , one of the heaviest tires out there.

What can be said about having a heavier tire?

You will feel it in your right foot. Not much but it's their. Your mpg will drop but, who's paying any attention to that.

I gave up on MPGs a long time ago. Will I feel like I lost my pep, or will I still be able to overtake Fords one the freeway?

Ha Ha....you will be fine. I did some research on tires awhile back and just noticed that the falcons were one of the heavier tires. I think their was something like a 6 pound difference between those and the BFG's. Nothing to worry about. Just slap them on and keep on truckin. If their is any concern at all the tow haul button will fix that. Cheers

Roger that! I can't I did order them. I can't wait to slap them on. Going from a 285/55 to a 295/60. The only problem is, they aren't even here yet and they are sturring up that urge to keep doing more.

The Falkens are way too heavy IMO. The Cooper AT3 XLT's are 11lbs lighter per tire, better in the rain, better tread life warranty and not that much more $.

Ive got 275/60R20 Falken wildpeaks. Been a great tire so far (6000k Miles). Had the Toyo AT's before. No issue with either. And they were a hell of a deal. I also really like the look of Nitto Ridge Grapplers, but they are a lot more $$
