I put in a new shifter knob a few weeks ago . I really didn't like the look of factory one .
Last week I added rough country steps and tow mirrors from 1a auto .
I put dual flowmaster series 40 on right after getting truck . And I'm getting use to sound .
I've been driving an 02 f250 diesel for last 10-12 years . And sounds a lot different .
But I love the tundra so far .
We bought our youngest son a 2008 tundra when he started driving . And it's been a great truck .
That was the main reason I bought a new tundra for myself .

Just wanted to mention to keep an eye on your trucks if you're from the area or find yourself down here. Seems like there's thieves Tundras for some reason, 2 have been stolen in Nederland within a 24hr time span and one in north end of Beaumont a few days before that. Seen the posts on FB for the area, dunno whats going on but better safe than sorry

Probably targeting Tundras for all the aftermarket stuff we all seem to add.

A few here are from the area. I’m sure there’s lots more but they just haven’t posted.

Does anyone here know of any relatively long, mostly dirt roads to travel in this area, something like 701/Weiss Bluff Road from 1013 to 1004 in Jasper County. When I have to drive in Southeast Texas for work I like to explore on the way back and use smaller or dirt roads that generally go in the direction I want. I last used it several years ago but it was a good, long stretch of mostly dirt.

(Another example: 25 yrs ago or so, we drove the Southern Pacific right of way north to Kountze, but they have blocked much of that off and I now have more sense than to cross abandoned trestles in a pickup)

Sorry I killed this thread. Anyone know why Mill Creek is shutting down for several months (or more?)?
