@Fish2eat88 did you lift the rear at all or just level in the front? Trying to dial in what I need to do on my DC. One sitting on a used lot here is running 35x12.5r18 and it appears after looking at it that it’s stock TRD in the rear (doesn’t look like shackles and no spacer block) and a coilover spacer up front(didn’t check to see if it had a lift spindle but I don’t think it did). I’m looking to run your tire size on the same wheels with some 1.25” wheel spacers and just 5100’s in the front to level it out. Think that will work? Below is the truck I’m referencing sitting on the lot.

Im running a 2” block in the rear. Hub measurements are 26” rear and fronts are 25”.( i got driver side lean as well) im thinking of lifting the rear more maybe with coach builders but its hard to cough up 250+ for .625” of lift lol. Will see. Might just dial in the front to 3.5” of lift, add uppers and add a toytec shackle at 1” and call if done lol.

Only part my tires rub was the skid plate. I was lazy so I just got some shears and cut away lol. I still need to fix it to look decent haha. If you like some rake I would do a 3/2. I read guys are doing bilstens set at 1.9” and a few top coil spacers to achieve the 3”. Just make sure you do measurements before

Got a lot of clearance off the 3” n 285/751FACD5F5-011A-48D6-82DD-142027089AA3.jpg Got to take it on a fishing tournament. I stayed out 3 nights 4 days. The 1” rake wasnt enough to hold my gear lol. 20gal water, plus 200lbs ice. And a bunch of gear but the power was still all there

SumoSprings installed!!! They were able to make me a custom spacer to accommodate the 1.5 inch rear lift.

Any idea on when Eibach took the kit off their sight? Ordered end may not sure if I'll get the old gear...

Is there any advantage or difference between doing an add a leaf instead of shackles?

Sounds like we are in the same boat. I've been looking forever and was going with the Eibach setup until I came across the problems with the spring rate on here. So, had heard of Fat Bob's and starting looking in that direction and settled on them. Didn't have the need or the funds to go for the Boss kit at almost double, and only really need the front lifted. I like the fact that they come preset at 3" and are fully adjustable. Just got them a few days ago and look to install this weekend.

I'd like to see pics of yours once finished.

Awesome can't wait to see the pics! I just got part of my BOSS 6112 3/1 kit in yesterday and the other parts come in today and next week. I can't put them on for two or three weeks anyway due to scheduling but I'm hyped!!

    Got another question guys.

So what would be the widest tire that I can put on my XD Grenades 820s that are 20x9 +25 offset? I wanted to do 35s with the 3/1 lift but I didn't know if that would work? I'm not worried about rubbing.

I guess the question should be, will a tire shop install 12" wide tires on a 9" wide rim? Is it possible? Sorry for the dumb question.

Yes. You can easily run a 12.5” wide tire on a 9” rim.

Got the lift put in yesterday. Thanks to Darren at BOSS 4x4s for his help ASAP when I had a dumb question about the jounce bumper extensions. Other than finding out 2 years later that my spare tire tool kit was missing and having to borrow one from a Tacoma neighbor, the install was fun!!

Awesome kit and I cat wait to put my 35s on next week. Here's the pics.

Picked up a set of Falken Wildpeak AT3W 35x12.5R20. They're beefy. Little to no road noise. Great handling so far. Had quite a bit of rubbing on the front side of the wheel well so I had remove the shroud. Had some minor rubbing on the mud flaps so I removed those as well.

Looks great @Mo_Martz !!! Are you rubbing on the body mount at all or just plastic?

Nice. I just threw on a set of 285/65/20s, basically 34.5s. Was able to fit on a front lift of 3.25 and factory wheels, no spacers, factory UCAs. I took off the front mud splat but may see about putting back on. I haven't looked at since I put the tires on last week. The only rubbing I have is on the skid plate on passenger side with full turn. Going to bend up this weekend.

Must say I love the look of the tires. I bought cause of everyone's love and reviews of them. Thought they could look more aggressive, not as rugged looking as some but absolutely love the look of them on the truck!
