Retro Tailgate Decal

    I have an 08 Crewmax and I'm wanting to debadge the tailgate and add the "TOYOTA" letters in black but on the 2nd gens they have the creases that run vertically beneath the handle which limit the length the decal can be. I saw a thread that a guy with a 3rd gen did the same thing and it looked fantastic but he wasn't limited by the vertical lines (albeit he had to cut out the tundra stamp off $$$) So I'm wondering if anyone has done this to a 2nd gen and could post a pic of how it turned out and what size you went with.

    Here is mine. Alot of guys have seen mine and said why are they not all the way across but when they see the body lines they say I see that looks awesome.

    Thanks ! I also did the side of the truck with tundra. That takes some getting used to be I really like it now.

    That looks great! Only thing I was thinking was bring it a little lower and run it all the way up to the creases.

    Yep I think so. I would get the bigger one for sure with how you want to do it.
