2020 Tundra TRD PRO 4” Readylift
    Hi all
New member and new to Toyota. I put a deposit down yesterday for a 2020 Tundra TRD PRO in Black. I have had 3 Raptors 2012, 2014 and a 2017 and wanted a change so now a short stint with a 2019 Chev High Country (Feb 2019 until the PRO comes in October or November)
I only realized how cool the TRD PRO is a month after I purchased the 2019 Chev when I was talking to a guy at work that had bought one. I bought the Chev as a change from the Raptor that are now getting too expensive, but had I realized at the time that the PRO basically has a Raptor suspension I would have bought a 2019 PRO. I do not like my Chev even with a 6" lift it drives nice enough and looks good but I have already had a bunch of issues with it that it has spent a total of 30 days of the 150 I have owned it in the service department. Squeaks and rattles, at 22000 km the front brakes pads are already worn out to the point of replacement ( I would get 200000 km on the Raptor front brake pads) Emisions Canister already replaced as plugged up from dust and lots of Stability, ABS, Engine codes have come up that needed attention.
There will be no regrets dropping this Chev off when the PRO comes in like I had dropping my last Raptor off on trade.

Welcome from Cypress, TX. I went from the Chevy 6.2L Z71 LTZ to Tundra this year. That 8 speed tranny was absolute junk. As was the A/C compressor.

Doesn't the PRO come 2" with the shocks it has? So with that RL kit, you'll be at 6"? Why not the +2 PRO kit and make it 4" or Coachbuilder PRO KIT?

2020 Tundra TRD PRO 4” Readylift
I measured both a new 19 PRO and a new 19 Limited that were sitting side by side on the lot. I measured both at the center of the wheel wells on fender lip.

PRO Front 38" Rear 39" equals 1" of Rake
    Limited Front 36 3/4" Rear 39 3/4" equals 3" of Rake

So the PRO is actually only 1 1/4" taller than the Limited at the front and 3/4" lower than the Limited at the back.
I am driving a 19 Chev High Country with a 6" Procomp Lift now and measuring in the same spots it measures 45" front and 44" rear so with the 4" Readylift I will still be about 3" lower than the Chev which will be perfect for me and the front tires won't stick out farther than the rears like this Procomp Lift does.
The 4" Readylift will keep my front end geometry the same which other Lift kits don't do and I also bought the Coachbuilder Steering Kit to the stop chance of Bumpsteer and +2 Shackles to keep basically the same rake as a Stock PRO as well as improve the ride in the rear.
The Readylift has 3" rear blocks to make it a level 42" & 42" stance which in my experience usually looks saggy in the backend hence the +2 Shackles that gives 1 1/4" lift.

My 2020 PRO with 4" Readylift and +2 Shackles should be 42" Front and 43 1/4" Rear equals 1 1/4" Rake and 4" higher than stock to fit my 35" Nittos.

Only 10-14 days now till it arrives then a couple days to install my mods, I should have it to drive in early Oct. I'm not sure if I will get a chance to drive it before I get the mods installed, but when I pick it up I can take a stock 19 PRO for a quick drive to compare before and after...I will let you know.

Gonna put down the $ to hold a 2020 DC in black on Monday. I’ll deeply miss my 17 cement pro 4Runner but we just bought a camper and towing had become a higher priority. Since it takes an eternity for them to arrive I guess I won’t have to say goodbye too soon. o_O

Update...since my last post my delivery date switched from Sept 24-28 to Oct 5-9 then to Oct 19-23 then to Oct 31-Nov 3 now it is back to a Oct delivery again Oct 27-30 and it is no longer on hold.
So hopefully it shows up between Monday and Wednesday. If it does I would think the Dealer will get my lift and other accessories installed for a next Saturday pick up.:fingerscrossed:

I will post picks when everything is done to the PRO and let you know how the Readylift feels to drive.

My Daughter has a 17 4Runner TRD PRO in White and she loves it.
