I'm on my second tundra (lost my first to a deer). My old ride had a 3/1 LRO spacer kit. I am going 6112's on new truck at 1.9 and was planning to keep rear TRD stock. I am also putting a Leer fiberglass cap on, and will occasionally tow a 16' aluminum boat, or an aluminum trailer with 2 ATV's. Am I going to wind up nose high? Do I need to rethink keeping rear stock? I plan on keeping tires stock until I need a new set but will eventually get a slightly bigger tire.

Sorry if i am rehashing aleady covered topics, but the more I read the crazier I get trying to get it right the first time!

I just did my 6112s at top setting up front. In the rear I have Coachbuilder +3 shackles with icon shocks. I have a decked system and Leitner designs active cargo system rack with gear pods and rotopax.

I am an inch lower in the rear and that is without any additional weight such as cooler, gear, etc.

I am installing firestone airbags this week with coachbuilder airbag cradles and an airlift ez compressor. This will solve the weight issue, sagging issue and towing issue all at the same time.

    Bags could be my solution!

Yes they can and work well. On my 18 sr5, upgrade (38 gal tank), 2wd. I did 6112 top setting, 5160 rear, and had 2 set the toytec shackles at 1.5" because of the space the daystar cradles took up. It "preloaded" the bags even with very low air psi. I am level with a full tank and about 300 lbs that i keep in bed. Low tank and light load I am a bit nose low. You said 1.9 setting on fronts so I would not do cradles for the bags unless you offroad, then I would go higher in the front. Just ditch the front swaybar if at top setting.

It helps with ride quality on top setting and allows for better articulation off road.

Handles interstate and twisty mountain 2 lanes just fine. The shocks give a much more 'controlled' ride than factory.

Man life was much simpler when I got 1st truck and had dealer throw on 3/1 spacers! Now after reading on this AWESOME site I am second guessing myself non stop.

I figure the Leer cap will be approx 200 lbs. So if I do 6112 at 1.9 then 5160 in rear what shackle or block will level it with the cap? If I do bags too for when I tow or load up heavier, will the bags cause back to sit higher when empty?

I have 6112 set at 1.9 with coachbuilder +2 In order to keep a slight rake.

I installed the firestone airbags and Air ride EZ kit and it has solved everything.
