Okay. When I purchased the truck it had a coil spacer installed and SuperSprings helper springs in the rear (small travel trailer was towed by original owner).
Truck seems nose high but measurements were exact at all 4 corners as level.

I have since added a decked system, A.R.E shell, and RTT. Now I'm definitely nose high by about 1 1/8". Crazy it seems like more but the tape doesn't lie.

Once in a while load out weight will change and also winter removal of RTT. I want to upgrade suspension to level it out, but don't want to do anything that will limit future upgrades.

I was thinking (as suggested on this forum) of Firestone ride rite's. I'll have to remove helper spring to add Airbags. I'm hoping this will level it with current setup. But not limit me if I add different leaf springs later on and/or 6112/5160's.

Just trying to do the simplest mod possible with least amount of negatives, like ride quality, axle wrap, etc. I'll also eventually get rid of this tire/wheel combo for some 18's and a more narrower profile than the 20" 305's that are on it now.

Use will be camping, some fire roads and low amount of off-roading. Not Rubicon stuff.

Anything I am overlooking or missing here??

    Prior to shell,Decked, RTT

    Serious lean now.

    Thanks in advance.

Maybe some 1" blocks in the back and you'll be close to level.

Call Toytec. Their shackles are adjustable.

I thought about the adjustable Toytec shackles as well.

The Coachbuilders are pretty decent too. Can't go wrong with either.

I also stopped by a suspension/ off-road shop today and they tried to steer me away from shackles. Something about angle of shackles and not improving load dynamics. No experience either way so it's all new to me.

I’ve seen this question before for rear mods that permanently increase load and cause Cali lean, the person was very happy with new custom springs. Sure those rear springs don’t look flat? The previous owner could have abused the hitch weight even with a small trailer.

True. That’s always a possibility. The springs do look a little flat now. However, they were pretty standard looking before all the accessories. I’m estimating the weight with the decked system, shell, and tent to be 400-450+ lbs. TBH, air bags vs. springs is pretty close to the same cost wise. Maybe a new leaf pack is the better overall option.

If you just looking for a lift then shackles are fine. You could run an add a leaf with the shackles to increase payload. Or get a whole new leaf pack with a higher payload rating.
