Class action lawsuit? In the end the lawyers will get the money and tundra owners will get a $100 coupon off their next tundra.

There should be a lawsuit against them for making black Tundras. Nobody deserves to be stuck behind a truck that slow.

Yep..I explained this on a earlier post. The AIP issue was much more prevalent and yet.. no class action. AIP failure would literally put your truck in "Limp" mode. If you were in the middle of nowhere..you were up shit creek. cam tower leak...a problem...but not stranded in the middle of nowhere. Just sayin....and....USA sent men to the moon and back. Several times..

Hard to do from the front of the pack! :plane:

Well, you can haul kids. I was thinking about all the young, blonde, voluptuous bikini models. Pack em in the crewmax, crank up the AC and put your shades on before you lose an eye to a nip slip! :yay:

Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
That's exactly what I was thinking. Too many people have drank the Toyota Kool-Aid. While I like my truck it is far from being perfect, or even well engineered. These are just some issues on mine over the years:

    - Fuel Sending Unit not functional
    - Starter replacement x2 (You have to remove the exhaust manifold for this job, why???)
    - Leaky Oil Pan even after gasket replaced x2
    - Water pump replaced x2 (needs to be replaced again)
    - Fan Clutch replaced
    - AC fan clutch relay replaced
    - Every window seal needs replacement as they are free hanging or gone
    - The paint is quite thin and there are scratches/dings everywhere because of it
    - Fuel Tank protective cover is halfway hanging on as the fastener broke

Point being, these trucks are likely the most reliable of the bunch out there, but they still have many issues. I have seen many people with the Cam tower leak. Luckily not me!

I think a lot are happening under warranty so they go un-reported.

I called that firm. They are looking for someone in California. the prime state to sue.

The Cam Tower Seal Leak, on my 2011 Tundra TRD cost me $3200.00 this Summer (Also changed Water pump since it was split open). I traded it in on a 2020 Tundra TRD Sport Crewmax 4X4 and bought an extended warranty that will make sure I don't pay for that out of my pocket again. Yes, I signed on to the class action suit and sent them all my paperwork, to further their case.

Whoo hoo. Just got diagnosed with cam tower leak on my 17. Luckily i have the lifetime warranty from Cool springs Toyota, but they wont return my call to get them to authorize the repair here in Florida.

they spend most of their time riding around in the back of pickup trucks and they leave little puddles everywhere they go...
