Still driving the speed limit. My avg mpg is at 14.8 now. I'm guessing it will climb to 15. Not bad for these trucks

Couldn't stand feathering the pedal anymore. I'm back down to 13 on average.

DAP was closed for the week, but Dustin, the owner, let me come to his home and loaded the programming there. Pretty nice guy. Most of us are just happy to own one tundra. He owns 2! I can definitely tell the torque management is gone, shifts faster and the gear hunting has stopped. I pretty much took it easy on the ride home though and plan to test it thoroughly tomorrow.

Added new rotors to my build. Not a lot going on with my truck these days. I got 112k miles out of my original brakes and rotors. I'm pretty impressed with Toyotas brake pads, so I bought a new set from them and some slotted, cryogenically frozen frozen rotors from frozenrotors.com. I may just be a sucker here, but supposedly they will last 3 times as long as non treated. I'll be happy if I can get another hundred thousand miles out of them.

As secure as I could make it, I came up with this. I guess it's a one of a kind. I couldn't find anything like it on the web. It's going to be a permanent fixture since I use my trailer for hauling anything large. The nuts are welded to the bolts underneath the truck bed.

Thanks, Ron. Yep, still at it. But not as much for the railroad. I've been running a mini ex for a while now. Kind of spoiled with it.

After seeing @LEKS professional setup with his battery, breakers and fuse box, I had to use the idea. I've got some lighting work that needs to be done and started down the rabbit hole. I'm a complete amateur with electrical work, but pretty interested in it and still not 100% certain on how to complete the big three upgrade, but that will be next. Anyone with advice, please don't hesitate to give it.

I tried my best not to make this look like ass. But I used half inch hdpe seaboard for the base, bought gp and blue sea products. My router rounded the edges of the hdpe.

After it was all delivered, I started thinking I may have gone overboard with the fuse board. It has 12 spots and Im not sure if I'll ever use all of them. I just thought if I used 6 and needed one more, I wouldn't be happy. Oh well, it's in there.

Looking good. Big 3 consists of upgrading the alternator and ground wires. Biggest pain was removing the factory wiring harness and putting it back in after replacing with 2/0. I know guys just leave the factory stuff alone and run new wires alongside it, I’m ocd so had to go the extra mile lol. If you have any questions just hit me up

My antenna rubber ornament was cracking and falling apart. I bought this one from Amazon. Super easy fix. Sorry for the bad pic.

The next few pics show my trd tailpipes. 5-6 years ago I had them ceramic coated black. Guess that's about how long it lasts. I'm thinking about changing up my exhaust a bit. So I might just take them off, re finish them and put them up for sale.

This might make you think I know what I'm doing... Part of that is true. I can turn a wrench. But this is only one corner of my truck! And it's all I got done today. I guess being out in the 100 degree weather here brought me to a turtle pace. Anyway, I'll finish the other side tomorrow. Then maybe I'll start on the front coilovers after that.

What I've replaced is the factory leaf pack with an Alcan spring pack, my +3 coachbuilder shackles with a set of +1's and of course one factory shock with an Elka adjustable shock.

I had the springs built for 500 pounds extra weight over stock and a 1 inch lift. Replacing the shackles with +1s will give .625 inches of lift. All in all I'll have, on paper, 1.625 inches of rear lift. The rear shocks from Elka were the only reservoir and adjustable clicker style that would work with up to a 2 inch rear lift. The pictures really don't do them justice. Aluminum bodies along with about the best setup for mounting reservoirs I've seen, really made me feel like I got my money's worth. The shock had a wet look because I just coated them with this T9 stuff.

Looks like the Elka's are playing peek-a-boo

I had a pretty good time today and got some nice results with the OV tune! It's to bad the Tundra doesn't come this way from the factory.

Let's see, I bought another set of u bolts, because I decided I needed to order a set of superbumps. I bought a front set to. Next up I'll install those and Elka coilovers. One thing I did decide to do is replace the upper control arm bearings. The light racing ucas originally came with a ball joint that you couldn't grease. The upgraded ones have zerk fittings. I plan on keeping the truck indefinitely, so I figured now would be a good time to swap these.

Finished installing the front coilovers, front bump stops, uca ball joints and rear bump stops. As everything is settling, so far I'm a half inch lower on the driver's side. I will probably drive it a couple of days before I decide to adjust anything. Maybe it will settle even. I haven't yet tried to adjust the firmness of the shocks, but just like they came, its such a change. I wish I had just spent the money 6 years ago. Instead of pacifying myself with the fat Bob's. They weren't bad, but here are some pics of what I found. Not to mention both shocks were blown. I guess for what I paid, getting 100k miles out of them wasn't to bad.

Both sides were smashed and rubber was cracking out of the sides. I could tell something didn't feel right.

    IMG_20190905_103806.jpg IMG_20190905_122405.jpg

But on to bigger better things. I like the newer version of the spc ball joints. They can be greased.

    IMG_20190906_141258.jpg

I did have to use a flap disk and remove a little metal for the lower mount.

    IMG_20190905_145816.jpg

And of course, I sprayed the living daylights out of it all with T-9. @jberry813 recommendation. Well, really all of it was his recommendation. Thanks!

Except for the bump stops... Thanks, @TheBeast

Finally got my coilovers adjusted and the truck aligned. I bought SPC spring compressors and was able to adjust these easily while they were on the truck. I put them in place, used a jack on the lower control arm, tightened the compressors and slowly lowered the jack. The rings turned pretty easily.
