This Happend to me in January from a Guy that was Messed up on Drugs... @10am on a Saturday morning

 

Pretty sure he'd be even more messed up after I got through with him would this have been my truck

yeah, I was pretty Pissed!

He took a ride but had no car insurance and only spent 3hrs in jail before out on a PR bond.

 

It was totaled.

No... The Douche Bag did not have any insurance, because it was not my fault, the required uninsured motorist insurance took the hit.

 

But since you're the only one with insurance, your company had to fix it, correct?

 

Yes, that's correct! My deductible was cut in half and no increase in premium.

 

My insurance is having to take over because she was underinsured. I'm hoping my premiums don't increase. Amusing sidenote, my un-underinsured coverage is 4x the state minimum, which is what she had.

 

I was told that 1 in 7 people in South Carolina are driving without Car insurance. The DMV gives these lovely people up to 2 months to get there insurance takn care of

 

State insurance laws suck. I hate the fact that I wasn't in any way shape or form at fault in this, but yet I'm left to deal with all of it as if it was me who caused the accident. I have to make a claim to my insurance after waiting a week for her insurance to drag ass and never contact or update me. The minimums here are laughable, what new car can you potentially damage that sells for $25k? Now factor the damages in for the 2019 Rav that was also damaged and there's a deficit. The whole thing just pisses me off.

 

Impressive considering every insurance provider I’ve had raised premiums if I had to file for a no fault repair.

I agree, i was suprised when USAA (my insurance company) told me that nothing would change because he was uninsured and the accident was not my fault. The entire process from start to finish was 2 weeks and i had my check.

 

I used to have USAA for everything but not anymore.
