Icon Rebounds were designed to be used with standard acorn lug nuts. The ET style will bottom out before the wheel is 100% seated and torqued to spec. If you have ET style, get acorn styles ASAP.

ET style will be used on Methods, etc.

100% sure on this? Just had Rebounds installed at Discount Tire on they used the ET style. Now I’m nervous I’m not safe and headed out of town on Saturday with kids. Should I be looking at something different? That’s all Discount had with shorter length. They originally installed with spline style but we’re way too long and looked silly. I also have the acorn style some have bought from Wheelers but the socket discount had and the one I bought from Wheelers would not fit bore hole which was disappointing. Thx for clarity.

My lug wrench wouldn’t fit the Rebound lug holes, either. I had to use a thin wall deep socket to thread and tighten the Wheelers acorn nuts on.

Glad the Wheelers lugs can work. Where did you purchase the thin wall deep socket? Might go that route since I have the lugs already. This stuff is stressing me!

100% sure. You can give ICON a call to verify this as well. Icon had the hub mounting surface machined thinner so that ET style lugs did not have to be used. Generally most places do not stock the shorter 14x1.5 lugs.

I got them from Amazon, but I can’t seem to find a link for them at the moment. If you google thin-walled lug nut socket, you should be able to find a variety of options. As it is, just before I got mine delivered I discovered one of my deep sockets was already thin enough to fit.

Also, I forget what size my lug nuts are. But I do remember the size noted on Wheeler’s site is wrong, at least for my lug nuts.

I'm with @equin . I did the EXACT same thing with my Rebounds, lugs from Wheelers, and socket set, on his solid advice. Everything has been perfect.

Also, it's a 13/16's Hex Thin wall you will need.

If I remember correctly, I think these are the acorn style lug nuts I got from Wheelers: In their description, they claim these nuts use a 13/16” sized wrench/socket, while the stock lugs use a 7/8” sized wrench/socket. But my Wheelers acorn lug nuts use a 7/8” socket. Not sure if they’re selling the 7/8” size now and they forgot to update the description on their page, or maybe they had a rare 7/8” size in stock and they sent them to me.

Thanks all for input. Found a 13/16 (21mm) socket in my tools last night. Seems to fit in the bore hole with plenty of room to tighten/torque the Wheelers lugs I have. Back to Discount this afternoon to switch out the ET lugs for the Wheelers. Thx again!

I am going to get these Rebound in the titanium color also. What are these acorn wheelers lugs that have been mentioned? Could you send me a link of which ones to get? Sorry for noob questions, I just got my truck, and I am overwhelmed with information, and from reading 1000 pages on the forum LOL. Also, is your suspension stock, or its raised?

Do you have any pictures of the truck down the side ? I'd like to see how much they stick out. I'm trying to find a replacement for my Method +18s that suck into the fender wheel a little bit more.
