7 inches of rear lift with Deavers and CB +3

Afternoon,

I'm looking to replace the block from BDS in the rear. Need to achieve 7 inches of lift to match the front. Is this possible with deavers and coachbuilder +3 shackles?

 

That's what I've heard, just wanted to check. Sounds like Icon RXT is the only way to avoid using blocks with the+3 shackles

This is precisely what I'm looking to do. I'm hung up between Deavers & Icon. I just didn't want to spend $2,400 on shocks. That's more than the entire BDS lift cost. Haha!

 

Why not just get Alcon to make whatever it is you need and not run big shackles or blocks or whatever.

 

Because the adjustable, and even custom built, leaf packs don't make up the total lift height required. They simply replace the 4" block, after which there's still another 2" to go.

 

FYI, the BDS lift does not raise the rear 7".

All you have to do is get a +4.5" leaf pack set from Atlas and longer shackles for another inch.

 

Your telling me you called Alcan and they told you they can’t build you a spring to give you the total lift you want?

 

Actually, no, I was simply referring to Deaver's as mentioned by the OP.

 

Ok. Call them and they Will set you up. Seaver’s will give you an inch if that.
