I'm gonna take it easy too cause I'm in need of some suspension rejuvenation.
We don't go far before stopping and regrouping anyhow.

New here, thought it would be a good idea to check in and say hi. Took delivery of this on Sunday and it is fantastic.
I still have my Tacoma and hope to apply some of the lessons learned modding that thing to mods I want to do to the grown-up truck. :D

    Oh. The Taco:

Welcome Eric. That Taco looks trail ready and like it's being driven the way I drive the Tundra.

Thanks for the welcome gents. And Mark. :)
Don't want to go posting a bunch of noob questions about tire size, wheel specs and spring rates, so I'm going to do a bunch of reading on here before I start. I now see what all the 5.7 fuss is about.

So there is a 17” wheel that’ll fit? Be interested in that, but with a tire size for mere mortals.

Method has a couple. But I think they're mostly 0 offset. Icon I believe has +25 offset. And I think SCS is thinking about making some soon. Ask Mark if FN has some. And yeah, 35's are perfect and not too difficult to fit.

I gather anything above 35"s would require re-gearing? Is that correct?

Yeah, pretty much. I'll know soon. Pretty sure there's going to be a couple of months between my 37's and my gears.

IMO 35s require regearing. Sure, the engine handles it just fine but it's my opinion that you're over working the tranny. But, that's just my .02.
