I had no idea. I'll admit I forget where my hazard switch is sometimes. Maybe if it was bright red I would always remember.

Obviously that's in terrible condition and about 7/8th work out. Just kidding it looks like it's in great shape. What's the plan? Keeping it mostly stock or adding some fun parts?

Very nice, I would keep it classic and do and nice leveling kit some wheels and tires maybe a decent exhaust and drive it for 20 years.

Not planning on doing much except a new set of tires.

Paint looks great when the clear coat is usually peeling on vehicles this age. They must have charged you a good penny for the truck being in excellent shape with very low miles as that.

What is everyones recommendation for tires? Preferably something that isn't super loud and won't destroy the gas mileage. Some A/Ts would be ideal and nothing super expensive. What is everyone's thoughts?

For an AT that's not super aggressive or expensive, I was really pleased with my Hankook Dynapro ATM's. They have since replaced/renamed that tire the the AT2. It comes with a 60K mile warranty. They also have the 3 peak mountain snowflake which many look for.

Looks like Hankook is offering a $60 rebate for another week or so.

This is a loaded question which will yield many answers. Personally, I prefer Michelins Defenders. They were the m/s version prior. Been on them for years and they are quiet and last pretty long. Prior, I’ve had mud tires and AT’s which look cool but in my experience are loud and clunky and the duration wear was awful.

I'll agree with those two above, as I've had both the dynapros and m/s. Both were great. I'm on cooper discover atps now and haven't had any complaints. It's hard to go wrong as long as you don't cheap out.

I'm surprised at how quiet the KO2's are on my truck. That said I use Michelin's on all of my other cars.
The KO2's only have about 14k miles on them so I can't speak to the lifespan just yet...

Sweet truck! Not tooooo far from my neck of the woods, either. My 2010 went through two sets of KO2s in 117k miles. The second set still had 7/32" tread but I got impatient for bigger ones. They are good tires for our climate, and not too loud. I have the 5.7L and do mostly city driving, and averaged 14.5mpg with those KO2s.
