    Those wheels are as brand new as he says they are. He bought the truck around father's day brand spanking new. He is a friend/co worker of mine. So whoever gets them is getting a good deal. He called me first to offer but the wife wasn't to crazy about the look of them and honestly I'd rather wait till spring and see what new wheels come out to get my next 18's.     I don't think the added strength and reduction of weight holds the same value for truck owners as it does for tuner cars. We aren't drifting or pulling g's around corners. The price to benefit ratio doesn't weigh out the same for us. No way on this planet I'd pay $2500-3000 for those and most clearly agree with that. Now if I had a GTR I absolutely would care if I was hitting Laguna seca with it.

    The market is hot for these right now. Know someone who paid $2500 just for the wheels. Imo he can sell them $3k wheels tires and tpms and it’s still be a great deal for the buyer.
    And Tyler being prob the best non emotional, logical purveyor of any goods on any market for us, his logic doesn’t hold true for the majority of us buyers on these forums lol. Like @Hattori said...people will get them for looks/status/whatever.

    Value is determined by whatever people will pay. @TNTundra53 tell your friend he should expect $3k. It’s a sellers market strike while it’s hot!

    My description was in explanation to @Hattori comment about the lack of the majority appreciating the benefits of forged wheels in the truck market vs tuner/sports car world. This is evident by the majority not seeing the value in the BBS forged wheels but rather going with the likes of method or SCS performance. Price And worth are different than value. I stand behind the majority not seeing the value in forged wheels in offroading but agree on the price/worth being determined by what the present market will pay. Right now the demand outweighs the supply on those wheels. After 3+ years of production I'd argue that will no longer be the case. Only time will tell
