going to look for a dual mag holster, maybe a shoulder holster, extra clip for my 7mm magnum, just a bunch of little stuff.

Thanks to Tuesday's results prices should be pretty competitive if not buyer friendly.

I bet those vendors were probably planning for a different outcome and might be looking to get rid of a bunch of "extra" inventory that they were planning on gouging.

Prices at gun shows range from "I paid him quick in case he came to his senses" to "You gotta be bleeping kidding me". You have to do your homework, but good deals are there if you know what to look for.

I used to buy reloads from a vender at the shows. Good prices. Usually 1 or 2 rounds failed to fire out of 1000 haha

Dont buy on impulse....... If you know what you want, and you know what is a good price for what your looking at then go ahead and shop til you drop. If your not sure what you want, then a gun show is a great place to learn about the weapons and of course you can touch/hold/finger and learn about the weapons and how they feel in your hand. Another thing to do if you have time is to go to a range and rent the type & model of weapon your concidering to buy and fire a few rounds to ensure you will like it and how it feels!

    Just my .02 cents

Gun show was a dissappointment, only about 10 venders there and prices were high. 40 bucks for a used mag with no finger grip. not a whole lot to look at.

I've never been to a gun show. Were the vendors local or do they travel around?

Thanks for the info. The idea always reminded me of a traveling fleamarket, but I've never been to one so I have no clue.

I guess I will stick to my local shop, etc.

Bigger the town/city the bigger the gun show is, where I live the shows charge about 6 bucks to get in, and you can see everything there in an hour waste of time mostly, hit a big city show and you can spend the whole day there and not see it all!

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
Never been either. Discouraging that it wasn't that great. Question: if you buy a gun there do you go through a background check? If so then what happens if it's the last day of the show, how do you get the gun?

If you have a carry permit you can buy at any time & anywhere (for a pistol) don't need a permit for rifles/shot guns (within your State/per your laws), if you know of a show that is coming around best thing to do is get a permit (from local sheriff dept) and have it with you at the time of show, just need to up with whatever state laws you need to follow.

It's that Irish Telepathy. More so because we're of the same mind and I raided mine earlier.
