I have them, and love them! Id say they offer similar ground clearance compared to stock. I can take some pictures tomorrow for you.

Edit: this is about the only decent picture i have with them on the truck.

Love mine! They feel very high quality. Matched up perfect with the predrilled holes in the frame of the truck.

I have had mine on since I bought her in Jan 17 and no issues. They are rock solid and a tremendous value. I also have the Tyger tribute folds of Tonneau and it keeps the bed bone dry.

I’d like to have them also, but I don’t want anything that hangs down and takes away from the look of the 7 inch lift that I just put in, they have great reviews on Amazon

That's what i was concerned about. How low they hung. My truck is just leveled in the front so i didn't want them lower than the factory steps.

I have these same steps on mine. They feel very solid and well built. Install was pretty easy too. Would’ve been quicker with a second set of hands but I was able to install them by myself. Only had them a few months so far but I’m really pleased with them.

Never had the factory steps but from what I’ve seen on other trucks, I feel like these would sit higher up and closer to the body than the factory steps. I had some other steps on prior to these and they hung much lower than the Tyger steps. Overall look of the Tyger steps is much more streamlined and they hug the body of the truck nicely.

Edit: My truck is also leveled in the front (and rear) so that should give you an idea on clearance.

20190706_083020.jpg Here's mine with the factory steps. I believe the Tyger would fill in the gap at the top.

I have them. They work as intended, are sturdy, seem to be well made and are good value for the price but I would not buy them again.

I knew going in I didn't like the stars on the steps (looks cheesy to me) but the thing I really do not like is how far they hang down. As a bigger guy with non-lifted Tundra, I can not crawl under the side of the truck now.

Sounds like a plan to me, lol. Thanks to everyone who sounded in a had pictures. I like the looks of them but i don't want to lose ground clearance.

I have them as well. I parked next to a new truck at the dealership with the factory steps and mine look like they sit higher. At least it looked that way to me.

Its a real shame that no matter how nice the forum, there always got to be that guy /\

You would think someone with the screen name @Inquiringone would be inquisitive enough to read the OP's fist post where he asked if the Tyger side steps offered more ground clearance then the factory step? Let me be clear... the answer is no, they have less.

But I did kind of like how he tried to make it sound like I'm weird or something because I want to "access" the "bottom" of my truck? I guess when I installed my new DD exhaust a few months after installing the Tyger steps, I must have done it wrong because apparently there is a way to do that without getting under the truck? o_O

I don't get upset over stupid shit on the Internet. Your post came across to me like you were trying to be a smart ass so I replied in kind. Mea culpa if I took it wrong.
