Good morning Tundra Family!
Off to lose some golf balls first thing this morning. After that, meeting some of the grandsons for the Home Depot kids’ workshop.
Then spending most of the rest of the day puttering around the workshop. It needs a cleanup bad. Looks like a bomb went off in there. But then again, I might say f-k it and hit the pool instead.
I have to find time to hit the garden. Beans and peppers are coming in nicely. Might even have a ‘mater or two to pick.
since wifey and my daughter are off visiting a relative in CT, I might do dinner with the son in law and the grands at the local Chinese buffet. Not the greatest quality food but not bad and the kids enjoy wandering around and picking out their eats. Of course, they spend most of their time at the dessert part.
It’s going to be hot and humid again today. They’re also calling for more nasty storms here this afternoon. Yuk!

Didn’t check in yesterday as it was a bad day. During our party on Thursday, I received a call that one of my good friends passed away that morning. He was 44 years old.
Anyway, you guys and gals have a good day! Enjoy life!

Thanks Steve. He was way too young. I hate to say it, but it was his fault. Had 3 previous heart attacks over the years, blocked arteries and had numerous stents put in and some redone. Didn’t change his diet much, still drank and smoked. The biggest thing is, he didn’t take his medication!!!

 

I grew up with these planes. My fathers unit flew them from 79-07 when they converted to the F-15. Dad hit forced retirement right at the switch over. He was one of the top authorities on the plane, called to the Pentagon a few times as an advisor.
