If the OP returns, I am sure he will impress us all with his measured, well-thought-out response.

I mean, how can you argue with someone who gets angry at a truck HE bought after discovering that they used (gasping) PLASTIC in its construction?

    His points will be salient.

He will have calmed down and have confident responses the suggestions and questions posed to him.

We will be impressed with his findings in his search for the all-metal truck.

I'm gonna vote Mad Max style, complete with soundstage and personal guitar player. Solid steel and from the looks of it the sound quality is there too.

Go ahead and trade that cement POS in at the other dealers... they will be like wolves trying to get you to take one of their POS’s off their lot.

Damn, you people are as bad as Harley fans. Ok, I was wrong to say anything negative about my Tundra. It is the best truck ever. Love my Tundra now that it’s back together. I reinstalled some of the plastic with hot glue. To be clear, I said I know all vehicles are a lot of plastic but other vehicles come with more tech. I know Tundra engines are more reliable but they are milking it. Given all the responses, there is no need for them to stop. Also, if I get rid of it at some point, I will find something used and old for sure. I didn’t buy a dodge for a reason and I still wouldn’t.

4 pages so quickly. Don't have time to read it all.
I remember even in the 60s, cars had lots of plastic. The dash would crack in the sun and the ugly yellow foam underneath would rot into something that looked like pencil eraser bits. The vinyl seats would split at the seams as they too aged in the sun and the gas they emitted would coat the windows with something that looked like a thin film of oil. Metal bumpers were really solid but not so safe before the age of the crumple zone. I consider the current Tundra bumper an improvement over the simple plastic cover over a crumple zone that you find on the modern car and often times find sheared right off on the side of the road after an accident. Good luck on your quest to find a unicorn. Or was it a Model T.

Point it to the front and take out the slow pokes in the left lane. Around here you could also take out the weavers that decide to go 15 mph faster than everyone else and never use a turn signal. No wonder Dallas ranks has one of the highest accident rates

I never trade. Only a retard would trade a Toyota. I sold my Tacoma for 6 more thousand than trade would have been. Keep your eye on Craigslist in 6 months or so.
