    Had to get the crud off. Even a heavy rain can't do that. Not much of a detailer here, besides once the snow melts in the high country I'm out and about so why bother. I may still do my once a year Adam's tire shine now that there is a break in CO weather:thumbsup:

    i at least waited until after the rain ;) but it still took me over two weeks to finally quit screwing off and wash all the texas mud off the underside and try to get the bugs off the front end

    A mile or so east of Ft Garland before you get into town. Trincera Ranch Gateway...Alamosa has some great Mexican restaurants by the way. If you have the time...check out Great Sand Dunes Nat Park.. actually make time you'll be glad you did.

    As our Tundras age there is a stick on foam strip that runs the length of the radiator that will eventually crumble into nothingness, hence no pix of it. Not having it is no big deal but apparently is used in regards to air circulation. For me not having it meant "how many times did I set a wrench there and have it fall through..:frusty:?" I used some of my topper weatherstrip and a can of VooDoo Ranger IPA to fix it. Easy peasy.

    About 30 days ago I decided to check and change my spark plugs at 98.5 K miles. My super 07 Tunny is 12 years old so I thought it was time to take a gander. Plugs dry as a bone. Not too surprising since the Iridium's are good up to 130K. I took a leap and swapped in E3.68's. Quite pleased so far. Same quick start. I did my homework and the E3's seem to be the real deal. I pulled a couple plugs out today and still looks new. The heat range for these plugs is legit. I gained 0.5 mpg and with my new aFe Stage 2 in combo with my dual in/dual out custom Flowmaster setup I'm averaging 11.6 mpg. A lot better than my 9.7.
