Maybe it’s just me, but I feel these buttons are opposite of how they should be. Volume up and down, next and previous track left and right. I have only had my truck about a month and I’m sure muscle memory will eventually kick in, but I keep changing tracks when I mean to change the volume!!!

It was like that on my Tacoma too, so I am used to it but yeah it does seem kind of weird that volume wouldnt be in the "Up/Down" positions.

Still beats the Raider I had before the Taco, where all the controls where on the back of the wheel, and you had to guess what did what....

I’d rather not list. My wife might see it.
I agree! Loving the track so I turn up the volume and I end up changing it. Especially sucks because I have the free version of Pandora so there’s no way to get the track back. Lol.

Ha! I’ve totally done that too. Same with podcasts, and if I don’t have them downloaded I have to go back and find the spot I was at!!

This doesn't bother me near as bad the positions of lock/unlock on the key fob. I think they should be reversed.

That would even screw me up - my volume up/down is where your phone call buttons are. And they work so well there.

    Uhh....
Up makes the selection go up on the screen. It would be ass backwards to use left right toggles for a vertical screen selection. And the volume goes left to right too...

I never look at the screen when using these. That makes senses though if you’re changing radio stations, or even looking at the tracks on your screen. I just never am.

To me, this makes a little more sense than down being “on” for wipers and then rotating up for more wiping with the intermittent wipers. Think I got that right, because can never remember it. I still have to look at the wiper markings. Maybe it’s because I am left handed.

I own a Titan Platinum Reserve. No problem with the steering wheel controls. But, if there were any. You can actually make adjustments to the stereo itself right at the unit! Ya know, adjust volume, change tracks and stations... This is what's driving you crazy?

my other cars are up and down so my truck screws me up all the time. I find myself reaching for the knob on the stereo most of the time because of it.

I definitely agree with above.... BUT, if you want steering wheel controls to drive you nuts, get a Ford. Why would anyone design a wheel with volume controls which are to be utilized by your right hand? Your right hand is used for everything but driving most of the time (you're a racecar driver), ie: grabbing your big gulp/coffee/beverage, putting a dip in, poking at your wife, petting your dog, throwing food back to your kid, etc.

At least they're on the correct side (but yes, I agree it'd be better reversed).

EDIT: don't try to tell me it's because RPM's are more important blah blah blah fordnuts. Go give your daughter her v6 mustang back, she's late for her pedicure... :D
