de-stickered my back window today. All ready for my Tundras.com decal &....
I don't like it there. Don't like it anywhere. Tried here & there & even up there & back here &...
Going to have to hunt for a thread of where people put them for ideas.
Funny thing is, all of a sudden my truck looks decal heavy w/ the stock badging. Never did before this.
    Sheesh.

Never been a sticker guy myself so I know what you are saying. The badging I can live with because its too much work to remove and I think will help to have them with resale if it ever happens.

Time for a fun weekend in the black Hills!

Side note, I’d love another 50lb.ft of torque for the hills. I had this baby to the floor in second gear and losing speed a few times. Only towing about 4500lbs too.

Crawled under my truck today and found out why I was getting vibrations at 65mph... Carrier Bearing "feels" toast. Toyota replacement on order.

Also received some new LBJ's. Will be installing tomorrow, hopefully.

He's hoping these get enough attention for SDHQ to actually carry them in production along with their newer Tundra sliders. That way first gen guys don't have to pay that high custom fee.

I really want to see another skid option. Hate that Skid Row is the only choice.

Just got done with a spark plug change. So easy on these engines, especially the passenger side. Didn’t have any records from the PO so been changing everything over time. Old plugs were iridium and didn’t look bad but rather have a peace of mind and know when they were done.

Yeah possibly. He designed me a transmission/oil pan skid and wants to replace my used skid row front skid. So it's possible.

Went and had some fun today ... got a new paint job :mudding:loving the way quicksand looks on the first gens ... someone said i should just put clearcoat over it and call it done
First i got the tires rotated

Then i went and got stuck (driver side tire slid off that little ledge and made me bottom out on the front chassis) NOTICE MY REAR TIRE FLEX

Looks good. Not to mention it seems that you have a pretty handy husband. After suspension I think sliders need to be my next project. If for no other reason than my wife complaining about getting in the truck without steps. Thanks for the motivation!

That's exactly why I bought sliders a few months back. They should be arriving early July. I can't wait.

Glad I'm not the only one. I took my old rusty steps off and even my wife said it looked a lot better, but she said she can't get the kid in the car seat without them. So either she only takes her car, I always accompany my truck, or I build sliders. I think sliders with the kickout at the back look badass and should help with bed access. So it's an easy way to get the wife to let me spend money on materials and a weekend at the shop! Almost like I planned it.
