2018+ Sequoia grille to gen 2 Tundra conversion ?

now that the 2020 TRD PRO sequoia about to happen, it has a nice TRD PRO grille.
anyone tried to use a 2018+ sequoia grille on a gen 2 Tundra ?

From what I remember the Sequoia grill is shorter than the Tundra so you'd have to use the bumper too.

I would be happy with just the insignia in the center of the grill. On some of the older Toyotas the part of the grill that said TOYOTA was separate from the rest of the grill. It was held in place with screws from the back. It'll be interesting to find out if this is the same.

 

Do a search, there is a thread on here somewhere. And yes it's been done, and no you don't need a new bumper.

 

I mean you can use the Tundra bumper, it'll just look bad. The bottom of the grill is a different shape

You don’t need a new grille. Just new lights and the body colored valence below the headlights.

My wife has already told me she wants this grill for her Sequoia when it becomes available. Hopefully it won’t be a too expensive.
