Yes sir. Are you installing your self? They come disassembled but I can give you some advice on install it’s pretty easy. Or you can pay $30 and have them come assembled.

I appreciate that. I was going to install with my buddy who is handy with autos but I think I am going to try to find somewhere in NH that specialize in lift kits

So if these all come together the shop I go to just bolts in the front shocks and springs

Then the rear they just install the new shocks and a block or shackle in the rear

Then I guess I will need a spacer for the side the gas tank is on to level both sides out

    Does that sound accurate?

The other option I was looking at with just the 5100 and using my stock springs would put extra compression on the stock springs where this kit that comes with new springs would eliminate that hence being a better set up

I remember them saying if you use your stock springs with either a level kit or 5100’s both will put extra compression on the stock springs. He said it won’t break them but does put more pressure on them

Can’t thank you all enough. Just want to make sure I do this the right way the first time

I just measured my stock 19 CM TRD Sport and the lean is there. It's 1/2" lower on the driver side vs the passenger side.

This goes against everything I've heard and read. Now Im going to go measure mine when I fill up on gas (battery currently dead and waiting for 4th of July sales to buy a new one). Thanks for the info!

Unless you have adjustable coil overs then you should get a shim on the driver side for Lean. If you want it dead even or close. It’s very easy to install the lift you could save quite a bit. And put it towards a better lift like fox 2.0s

Thanks again for everyone’s help I will let you all know what kit I order

I narrowed it to 5100’s all around which will use my existing front springs and 1.5 block in rear to maintain some sort of rack

2nd option is the old man kit which includes 4 new shocks and new front springs and same 1.5 block in rear

The only difference I can see is the truck will ride stiffer with the 5100 option because of the extra preload on stock springs

The 2nd option with new longer springs will ride better

I just need to decide if that is only difference is it worth spending another $500-600 on the old man kit just so the truck does not ride as stiff as 5100 option with stock springs

I would like to take that $500-600 I would save and put it towards 33’s

They said the extra preload in the springs with 5100’s would not damage truck at all just make it ride stiffer

Hopefully have a decision this weekend and move on to next mod

My stock 18’ Sport had lean as well. Wasn’t noticeable in stock form but the tape measure doesn’t lie.

If you want to level your truck, you don’t need to do anything to the back. All you need is a pair of 5100s struts in the front, set to the second setting.

I just went and measured mine and oddly enough my driver side is higher than my passenger by about 1/2-3/4". Cue Twilight Zone intro please o_O Did I forget how to read numbers again...damnit! :annoyed:

Sorry one more question what’s everyone’s thought on diff drop? I am going with the 5100 package and 1.5 block in rear. Toytec suggested ordering a diff drop too. Necessary or worth it for folks who went this option?

Mine is more a pavement truck and occasional bumpy dirt roads. I do tow a lil like 5k pounds

I did some reading which I should have done first. I am going to go with front diff drop and will most likely get the rear drop as well just so everything is lined up correctly

I thought the rule was if you have 3" of lift or more from stock you need to do it but would love to hear anothers opinion

That’s what I’ve read too. 3”+ then get the diff drop.

They did say at 2.5 it could go either way but for cheap money it would be worth just doing it as it is real easy to do and not much money

Coachbuilder +1 shackles are installed now. I think truck sets perfect. Netted 2.5" up front and 5/8" in rear.
