So the fog relay on my 06 is different from the gx470 fog relay. I'm not sure how to proceed.

in general anything above 220 is danger zone. the highest I've ever seen my temp go is 200, and that was putting around a job site in 4x4 under 10MPH, so the tranny cooler had no airflow.

towing an 8000lb parts truck for my dad, I never saw anything over 185F.

Me personally, I'd be wary of anything over 200.

It was for DC’s with DRL’s. Took me a while to find the right write up for my headlights. There should be plenty of write ups for non DRL’s on TundraSolutions.

I believe we determined that warning light is essentially useless. By the time it comes on you may have already done damage.

Just curious, did you dash warning light come on? I'm curious how high it has to get before that activates.

I have not seen my dash light go on ever. one time my dad had his come on on his '02, but that was because he was trying to get his bobcat unstuck and was pulling it out with the truck in reverse.

    PS. don't pull in reverse.

Did you determine the temp at which said warning light activates? Curious.

I am going to attempt to center my rear axle. Since adding the lift to the rear I have noticed it sticks out 1/2 - 3/4” more on the driver's side. Anyone else experience this?

Are your leaf and shackle bushings fresh? I don't know how the axle would be off center unless something has play in it. I guess you could loosen the u boots, try and push the axle over, and then tighten the u bolts maybe.

If you Google this issue it is an issue seems a little more prevalent with second gens and on but axle shift to one side or the other is somewhat normal. My only thought is the way I installed the new leafs they might have been slightly uneven at the bolting location and then after applying that much torque to them they're stuck slightly twisted.

Oh that makes sense. I haven't dealt with u bolts in quite a while, but I could see how a little play here and there with the torque of the bolts could pull it around some. My other truck has u bolt eliminators because I hate u bolts so much.

If you were really anal you could take it to a 4 wheel alignment of possibly trailer alignment place and have them really set it. At work we've taken a few trailers to get checked and if it's out they basically use chain and a jack of something to tweak stuff into square. Really cool concept especially when the alignment guy gives you a spec sheet after and you see how close or far you were.

I had to use a big ratcheting tie down as a come along to get the center pin to align in the first place. Again, because of the way I installed them. I am thinking I can loosen the front and rear of the leaf springs from the frame and jump in the bed, push on the side of the truck and maybe even using a BFH to manipulate the springs to the point they'll be sitting in the lowest spot in the frame mounts. Then tighten them back up. I read the 4 wheels alignment is nothing more than them aligning the front to the rear. I have zero interest in that. Also, bed might be shifted to one side. This may have been an issue I have had since buying it brand new and having it rhino lined. Apparently if they do it right, they unbolt the bed and pull it away from the cab.

On the lining it completely depends who does it. When I was around that Industry a few years back it was pretty normal to leave the bed bolts in and coat over them. My truck has some type of liked and they removed them and my bed does look a little crooked.

As far as alignment I don't know mush past we've had trailers done and they have to move the axles because there is no other way to true them up

I did all 3 things I previously mentioned and heard a pretty good pop while jumping and rocking the truck side to side. Went for a drive and it looks more centered at this point. I measured around to see about the bed and it looks pretty good and they did remove my bolts. Thanks for the input!

Anyone here drop their cab hood liner? Can you point me where to start? Want to install some plastic foil sheets as a UV ray reflector and put some sound deadener up in there. If its a PITA its a no go bro.
