What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Finally put it on. Local shop wanted $200. Was 103F and was feeling lazy. Did it myself. Tundradude34 video helped.

Put on a set of GoRhinoRB10’s this morning. Definitely easier to get in for the wife and kids.

 

Started adding a little color to the i Force badge, and then covered up the chrome. TVD vinyl products.

I have red letters for the 5.7L, but I kind of liked the little bit of chrome accent. I will think about it if I want to make those red also.

Front sway bar will make a big difference now that you have a rear

Are you saying the front is improved with the addition of the rear? Or the TRD one is a significant upgrade over the OEM front?

 

I’m saying Trd front sway makes a big difference with the Trd rear sway bar. My wife made me buy the front one becuase she didn’t like how the truck rode with just the rear. Gotta love women made me spend the money lol! She now enjoys driving my truck with both Trd sway bars installed

 

You have a pro so it might ride differently with your pro shocks, I have the platinum so my shock are non bilstien/fox

 

Added Fender Flares...

 

Got my first service today. Don't know why but it makes you feel linda all fuzzy inside. Also visited my son, he has a 02 Tacoma. When I saw the difference in size, I just had to laugh.

 

Not today, but yesterday. Rear lights tinted. Almost black on the third, and enough to still reflect on the tails. It got ceramic coated in the same time frame.

 

New shoes.
I washed it late May, and it rained that night. For Los Angeles County, rain isn't common in late May, so I thought I had caused it because I had washed the truck. I washed it again last Sunday, and it rained enough to leave spots Monday night. Yep, now I know I caused it. So that's what I am _not_ going to do to the truck tomorrow.

The side view mirrors only move when I move the gear selector to reverse when either the left or right mirror is selected. If the selector is in the middle, the mirrors do not change position when I reverse.

Not a complaint or a problem, just an observation.

Hard to take pic of slick and shiny but it is awesome.

 

Changed the rear differential oil and the front differential oil. Put in Red Line 75W90 full synthetic. I can now confirm that the front diff filler hole cover bolt/screw is a beatch to get out. I was able to come at it from outside the shock with a couple of ratchet extensions and my small 1/2" cordless impact gun. It took a few seconds for that tool to break it loose. Doing it by hand would have likely resulted in a lot of cussing and some smashed knuckles.

Enjoyed it so much I went ahead and did the engine oil too. I was at 9,800 miles so pretty much time. Did I say how much I love my Jowett Performance oil filter cap with built in Fumoto valve? O.K. I thought I did. Oh. O.K. I'll tell you. I put another round of Mobil 1 0W20 in her. Mama Toyota filter.

 

Was just looking at buying Bead Maker last night but man that shine is unreal!

 

Finally got the TPO shellz installed and covered the bed.

 

Katzkin’s installed. Did the headrests Friday after work and the rest yesterday.

 

Money well spent man. I too took a gamble and will never look back. I thought bead maker was fantastic prior to the polishing job I had done when I got my chrome everything painted... I was WAY WAY WRONG... After having my truck polished (not paint correction but enhanced) this stuff is INSANE.

Got an alignment and added this little guy. I was pretty anxious about having it stuck to the dash but man it’s great.

 

Did the black TRD PRO exhaust tips mod this morning. Super simple...
