Test drove a silverado tonight. Really didn't love it but it's a better deal than the Tundra, but I can't see me getting it. Inside is kinda wonky and it didn't feel "trucky" if that makes sense.

I drove the tundra, the ram, and the Silverado before I bought my truck just to be sure. The Silverado is crap, my friend that drives one hates it, says it is cheap, same year as mine. The ram now is decent though. Just could not buy the Dodge.

So we had a flood, and my Mustang was totaled. So now I have no choice but to get a new vehicle.

Dated...well havent spent anytime in a 19, but still dated. I honestly liked my 2016 GMC interior, however the quality and comfort of the seats and leather in my Platinum Tundra are better than the GMC. The Dodges are nice too. Fact is, these trucks are showing their age and falling behind. I doubt any non-brand loyal, first time buyers would honestly choose a new Tundra over a decked out new truck from the big 3 after driving them all. Not trying to bash, put the pitch forks away...The Tundra is way overdue for a refresh, and that is a fact.

    I drove the F150 (v8) and Titan (V8 Gas)
The F150 was nice, no lie. I handled well, interior was ok, had decent options, seemed a little sluggish on power. I did a 40 mile interstate test drive. Not bad. Here is why I didn't get it.
Ford, resell value, they didn't want to deal, and the biggest for me was the wind noise at 70-80 MPH. I found it was way too noisy for me to enjoy.
    Titan, very nice
Drive and handles very nice, good power, lots of bells and whistles (one thing I really like in a vehicle is power adjust steering column with seat, mirror and steering wheel memory, I have that on my 1794) nice comfortable seats, quiet.
The bad, just came off an Armada with noise issues, trans winning, humming resonating, a low pitch vibration sound from somewhere and was very uncomfortable to the ears.
The Titan had some weird shit going on with all the sensors so much they had to take it off the lot back to service. Strike one. Drove another Titan weird noise from the rear, and what seemed to be drive train vibration.
    Strike 2, Mark out.
Dodge, humm, Dodge. Didn't drive it, why, just not keen on Dodge.
GM/Chevy, Didn't drive one, didn't want to, why, resell, looks, feel (I drove one for about a year for work)
This brings me to my Tundra. Why?
I still have a 1999 4Runner, 210k miles, never had work (other than tires, brakes, oil.....) never even had an alignment, frickin nothing, and it is still going strong.
I have a 1794, 2018, left over (3 months ago) great deal,(you don't want to know) looks good, has almost every option you can think of (I don't care about how loud the sound system is not the infotainment center is, I'm Driving no need for all that.)
It rides/drives great, quiet, plenty of power when i want it (fun) looks great, very large interior, rear window rolls down, sun roof (I never use it) soft heated and cooled seats, resell, reliability, great fuel mileage (haha JK)

    I hope this helps

In my mind it’s a truck and not an suv. I use it as a truck, and have never had an issue with any Toyota I’ve had. Grew up a GM/Chevy family as my grandfather worked in the plants. Had issues all the time with GM products and won’t ever go back. The reliability is better to me than a sexy interior.

Gives you what others in your area paid. Print it take it and show it to them.
If you don't get what you want, be willing to walk away, and do it. They will call you back.

Coming from a 08 bmw 650i vert, my 18 sr5 interior had a cheap feel to it. What I did was add black Katskins, tweeters up front, sub in the back, and it’s like being in the Beamer again, minus the logic 5 surround sound processor the bmw had. Am contemplating on whether to add the sunroof since I miss the rag top

Add tweeters up front and that’ll do the trick.
