I have a 2014 Platinum, so all of the factory switch locations are used. Has anyone used the brake controller location to add more switches? I just got a light bar and don't want to drill or cut if possible.

Do you mean those 3 empty spots in the picture? There are aftermarket switches that fit in those. But I have my parking sensor, tow haul, and traction switches there in mine.

I made a 6 cherry rocker panel to fit where the controller would otherwise be. I'll post a pic tonight. No longer using it so I'd be happy to sell it.

Check out trigger switch, no drilling or cutting or even firewall run through. If you’re ok running through firewall Switch-Pros if you think you’ll add several in future

This is awesome and something I would be interested in doing myself. I’d be curious to know how you did it and what your wiring setup is. Would you be able to put the trailer panel back and make it operational if need be?

I am also in the need of added switch space and don’t want to remove my trailer controller. Has anyone put a switch panel up in the overhead console where the crawl control is for the new Tacoma’s? There is a lot of unused space. Below is a picture of where I was thinking. upload_2019-6-21_10-9-0.jpg

I think spod makes a good mount for this for their setup

I’m pretty sure switch pros makes a mount for in there...might be specific to their panel though.

I ended up using a small piece of abs for now. Going to look into fabricating a panel that will use oem style switches.

Looks good. Did you have the trailer brake there? Easy to remove and could you reattach if need be? Thinking of fabricating a switch panel for there as well. How is your mounted to the dash panel?

Give me a call Monday. I think I have a switch plate I was contemplating selling at my shop. My number is 951-858-3418. Call me on your cell and I will text you a picture of it.

I cut the panel out to fit a switchpro. Now I just need to find the rest of the switchpro so I can actually install it.

I ordered the bezel for the brake controller without the controller. Right now it's held in with a little hot glue until I have my permanent solution.
