Ok so I have had the Extang Trifecta 2.0 soft tri-fold cover for a little over a month and have been getting puddles of water on both corners in the bed by the tail gate.
I contacted Extang warranty and sent in pictures and the response I got was that it is due to the rail caps not being flat so the cover isn’t sealing properly.
Has anyone else had this happen and had to add a fix to it?

Sadly, my Extang Solid Fold 1.0 has leaked from the day i purchased it 2nd hand. I like the cover, like the 2.0 better and in retrospec wish i had paid another 300 bucks for a new one. Sorry for your trouble. They are very friendly on the phone as I've had to order gaskets a few times. Mine freezes to the plastic and is frustrating in the winter. Black truck, kept outside in NE. Hopefully things turn out bette for you.
(the cover has also warped the hell outta my bed rails (the plastic ones, no the sheetmetal). So i understand why mine leaks.

Sorry, not the response I'm sure you hoped for.

I had the same tonneau cover for a little over a year could never stop the leak. So I sold it to a guy with a gen 2 (full disclosure) and put a Tyger soft tri fold and it is bone dry during a sideways monsoon.

We’re your bed rail caps flat or have ridges on them? I feel like most have ridges on them.
Out of curiosity how did you find someone to buy it?

Mine had ridges. I listed it on Craigslist and when the buyer contacted me I explained why I was selling it, when we met showed him where it leaked and he bought it. I sold it for $300. Mine was also warping on top from the sun. He wanted a hard cover for security and wasn’t concerned with a little leakage.

Soft covers have no way the leak at the folds like a hard cover, which is where my Extang leaked the most. I cant explain why my soft cover does not leak in the corners like the hard cover, but it doesn't.

k9shag, I’m not sure what is going on then. I have the soft fold and am getting puddles of water and they claim it’s because of the ridges on the rail caps.

Could the rail caps be power sanded flat?
