It's Massachusetts, they charge for everything.
$8 in State, $15 out of state based on vehicle registration, and based on the park having a Swimming beach. Scenic/historic parks with no swimming are $5/10. The ocean beaches are more, but i don't deal with those. I'm closer to Albany than Boston. Camping fees are more as well, but I haven't worked a camp ground since 09, and i know the fees went up since then.

It’s the government, just going through the motions. Not a lot of parking spaces are wide enough for our trucks.

We’ve been wanting to do a New England vacation and do some sightseeing. Heard it is expensive and you confirmed what we’ve been told, that they charge for everything.
Everything is free in our parks except for camping. It’s about $30 for electric only per night and about $36 for full hook up.

Good morning Tundra clan. Hope all is well. Had as great as weekend as I could possibly.

My folks are off to Europe traveling, and my mom wasn’t feeling well. End result she was admitted into a private hospital. Underwent surgery, and the recovery has been rough. Yesterday she had to go back to surgery, to stop the hemorrhaging. Dealing with doctors here and there. It’s been interesting to say the least.

Come in the fall, scenery is better and most, not all, parks stop charging after Labor Day. MA is actually one of the cheaper states in regards to parks

I mean you can only show someone how to use a shovel so many times. God help me when I try to teach him basic pipe fitting.
