That I don’t know. @dirtydeeds lives in California though, so I’m sure he’d be able to tell ya.

Edit: well, looks like 831 had the answer.

So is that $135 off of the $579? or the $500? And you can opt out of the resonator for $75 additional off? I'm lost, sorry. This is getting extremely tempting. LMAO

Yeah, I know it’s confusing. I was basing the $135 off of the $579...

$79 off via group buy, then an additional $56 off because of 28 orders.

Hell it could be more than that though... and yes, if you opt out of the resonator, then it’s another $75 off.

Different strokes for different folks, but without a muffler on there, I feel like you would want a resonator to get rid of the drone.

@dirtydeeds is always up for a good exhaust question though. So give him a shout.

Read post #143. Looks like you still need a muffler in California.

His question was if this would pass CA smog. CA smog doesn’t care what’s after the cat. So Yes it would pass CA smog without mufflers.

Now if a cop wants to be a douche he can pull you over for noise pollution. I wouldn’t worry about it thought. DD exhausts aren’t that loud. I have had the standard budget before.

Just was stating what Keith said about the mufflers being still needed.
Didn't know that CA smog didn't care about what's after the cat.

This is the third group buy for DD that Ive been on the fence about. Im not sure I want exhaust, I was thinking 8" would be perfect. I really dont want to hear it unless I get on it.

    Any suggestions?

    Same with me.
Sell me on this system as opposed to a aftermarket muffler installed at a local shop.
Just looking for a little growl...

Is anybody getting the budget dumped, or are most springing for the standard?

No problem man! I was on the fence as well but after seeing the videos and then having @dirtydeeds and owners say the videos don't do it justice is what had me sold. Feels like Christmas!

I have a trd Pro so it came with exhaust. But my suspension is now making it that I need to cut the pipe off or get a dumped system or have a muffler shop put different angles so that it won’t hit anymore. I love the way my trd exhaust sounds. Which system is the closest to the same sound or a little louder than the trd exhaust with or without resonator? Also, will that system provide more HP and/or Torque over the trd exhaust? Any experience with that switch over would be appreciated. I want in on this as well.

I put dump pipes on my TRD duals and don't hear it anymore. Talking with Keith, I'm not the only person to report this. You can probably sell your setup, buy this and put a couple bucks in your pocket.

My current 8” is dumped after the axel and it drones pretty bad ever since I did that. This budget is so cheap I want to see how it sounds compared to my current setup and sell the one I don’t like.
