Hey all. Quick question, a local dealer has a takeoff TRD Pro suspension from a ‘14 model. It was removed with 20 miles on the truck but has been in storage since.

They said to make an offer on it and the skid plate when I bought the wheels and tires. Not sure if I have anything to worry about as far as degradation of the shocks just from age? What would be a fair offer for the suspension and skid? Thanks!

I realize I should have posted this in the suspension discussion board, could a moderator move it please? Anyone have input on this?

If accurate this would be the Bilstein set up. If it were me I would start around $700 bucks for the suspension and TRD PRO skid plate.

Yes it’s the Bilstein kit. Thanks for the starting point on price. I guess my big concern is the fact they’ve been sitting for roughly five years at this point. Curious if that would affect their lifespan once on my ‘18.

2014 Pro? They must be mistaken as the Pros were introduced in 2015.
I got my Billy Pros with low miles for $850 from a 2017 early this year.

I’ll confirm with him on the year, he said 2014 but obviously that isn’t accurate.

Make sure it's not the blue/yellow shocks from the Trd Off-Road package.

Here is what they have...after trying to get clarification he said he was incorrect initially. They came off of a 2016 TRD Pro.

Do you guys think $850 would be a fair offer for the combo?

They're mine! $850 for the suspension and skid plate combo. Thanks all for your input! Excited to get these bad boys on my truck and get one step closer to the TRD Pro conversion lol.

No problem, it's Walker Toyota in Miamisburg. I bought the takeoff Pro wheels and tires from them. When I was down picking them up, he mentioned they had extra parts in the back room from the same truck. Sounds like whoever bought it wanted a lift, wheels, and tires done before it left the lot. They had just been holding on to the factory pieces.

Thanks! Trying to get the bumpers color
matched next. Since they didn’t make a Pro for 2018 I had to build my own.

Finally got around to getting the Pro suspension installed. Definitely improved the stance and ride. D6283439-4AE0-4DAB-B03B-72E440A356DB.jpg0C379612-DA67-495F-A515-E5A4D80A4A31.jpg

great deal ! whoever left those take offs parts at the dealership wasted money when they bought their TRD pro. They probably got a Pro comp body lift instead...

Thanks! I see that truck run around here from time to time. It has a 6” lift. He took almost all of the TRD components off, but the sales guy said he wanted the grill, only reason he bought the truck.

I saw your classified, unfortunately I don’t have sensors on my truck so I don’t know how I would handle the holes for them.
