I don't spend that kinda money on coolers but I bet you're gonna be surprised by that Ozark Trail.

I’ve tested my ozark and I got 3.5 days out of it. Ice was gone but water was still cold.

The wife thought she needed the yeti for a summer trip cause she thinks the ozark can’t keep up.

Yeti is name only, I heard their patent is up so there’s going to be good competition out there, even more than what there is now.

There’s not even a ruler on top of the yeti like my ozark.

Yeti is slacking. Although the wheels do make it nicer to push around.

I'm lucky to get free ice down the road at the local gas station thus the reason I have an Ozark Trail 50 something (plus it was on clearance for around $75). It lasts as long as I need it. Yeti's are very nice. I wish they made them in Blue Ribbon Metallic:spending:

Sweet deal! Yea I got my ozark for 100 bucks at Walmart cause it had some knicks around the edges. Nothing better than a good deal on good equipment.

Good idea OP, I've seen many test and have performed my own..just make sure they are similar in dimensions, either way they r both good coolers.

On our last trip I ended up getting some ice because we needed some for our cocktails. Other than that, still cold and lots of slushy ice after 4 days. Can't really see us out in the boonies much more than that without having to get gas, shower, or whatever.

Oh!! The bottle opener actually works like a champ too. No beer spillage when using it, unlike some others that I've used.

    Ozark FTW!

Nobody running an RTIC? It’s a Houston based company that makes Roto mold coolers as well, for a more reasonable price.

I haven’t tested with coolers, but have with the tumblers. I have a ton of them, in several brands. Every event I’ve been to over the last few years have handed them out, and several vendors have given some to me.
When I did the test, I think I had eight different brands. Yeti, RTIC, Ozark Trail, and a mix of others I don’t know the name of. I filled them all with ice and left them on my back porch. They all performed pretty much identically. There was one off brand one we had from Academy that did a bit worse, but no difference between the others.

I have the Ozark 26 qt and the soft sided coolers and they SUCK! I’m surprised everyone is such a fan. I could probably do better with a ziploc bag.

Yea those soft sides are definitely low on the spectrum. I don’t expect more than one day of performance from those.

Any tried the Roto molded coolers from HEB? Kodiak I think.
