I hate you! That’s a pretty awesome garage.

A couple of months back, we had a hail storm warning in Austin. Man it was a tight fit in our a garage...tundra, Lexus is200t, and cayman. My wife had to direct me because the cars were literally inches from each other. I had to do some gymnastics to squeeze out of the doors.

Thanks. I also have a 28'x34' attached to my house.
I really had to do some convincing to talk my wife into all the garage space when I built my house.:D

Nope. I bought my house before I bought my truck or else it definitely would. Next house will have a deeper garage or shop for sure

    Yep...
Along with the pop-up, ztr, Jeep, Volvo, motorcycle, tool box, and a bunch of other crap. I really should clean it, and work on some repairs... The house has been getting all the attention though.

    30'x70' with a 15' lean to.

Haha, I couldn't help it. I love my new house!

We just moved in a couple weeks ago and it has something for everyone. There's a big playroom for the kids, a sunroom for my wife, and I get a 66' X 30' garage. There's even a walkout under the back 1/3 of the garage so I can keep my equipment and junk in there and not have to clutter up the upper level. I can fit the Tundra, my wife's Oddessey, my '74 AMC Javelin AMX, my '65 Chrysler Imperial and even my IHC Scout plow truck!

I’m not sure where i’m not sure where your location is, but I really miss that part of the Midwest were a lot of properties have huge outbuildings already constructed. You are looking at $600K plus out here in Denver area northern Colorado for any type of property with a pole building or detached large garage.

Well done man, that is an awesome storage space... i May have something similar someday, just not out here. :spending:

Mine barely fits and is parked in the garage daily.

I want to get a 3/1 lift for it with wheels and tires and am worried it would be too tall to fit in my garage now. The garage height of opening is 6’8”, for those with a lift w/ wheels and tires how tall is your truck?

When we had our house built last year I had the builder add 4’ in the length to the garage so I had enough room and not be just barely fitting. I can just walk behind when the door is closed and can walk in front of truck in addition to having a tool box up against the wall in front of the truck. Granted I only put my truck in when it snows. My wife 19 Highlander always stays in though.

Thanks, this was a big upgrade for us. Our old house was 1,400 sq ft on 1 acre with a 2 car garage. I'm in the Northeast, in Western MA.

The area where we live is popular with second homeowners from the NYC area so home values have been driven up around here. We were really lucky to get this 2,700 sq ft house on 5.4 acres with the afformentioned garage/barn for under $350,000. Houses like this around here usually go for $400,000 and up.

Not even close. My 1954 garage won't even let it through the door.

I park my Camry and Tundra in about 21x17ft of space in my garage. I back my truck in on the left and park the car on the right facing forward. Plenty of space to get in especially if i pull my mirrors in and get my truck tight against the wall. No ones getting in the passenger side unless i pull out of the garage though

@Rob's Inferno... It only took me 5 years to plan and save... It has a floor now and I am in the process of wiring and insulating. Then the liner panel. It sits on an 8" poured wall foundation and is framed 2x6-16" on center. 6" floor with heavy wire mesh and radiant tubing for our fabulous Ohio winters. 40x56, 14' ceilings. Hopefully I will get it done before the snow flies LOL.

Great, my house is jealous now..

I've never done an Ohio winter but I've seen it on TV. All I can say is snow is pretty at first, until its time to get back to life.

Sounds like a great build that will handle the brunt against years of winters.

Alright...started this thread and got a lot of great creative ideas. Thanks all.

Spent fathers day re-arranging my garage, touching up the paint, mopping the floors and now I can park our Tundra in the garage. As measured...I have clearance of...one inch in the front and one inch in the rear. Included are a few photos.

Went to Lowe’s and picked up a rod and reflector; made a custom bracket for this cone on a 3D printer to mark when I need to STOP, so I don’t run through my wall. What do you think?
