Around here I’m afraid to put an American flag with the thin blue line. Someone will come and peel it off or break your window, possibly something less creative as well. And don’t dare put anything other than a you know what political sticker in California.

There’s a reason I keep my devils within me, because there are people out there like this and worse so I know I can’t be nice to everybody, sometimes I have to be worse than the devil and if I caught that person doing that to my truck I would give em a good beating then piss in their mouth or shit in it and guaranteed break a body part so they’ll remember me.

Playing Devil’s advocate here (get it?), do you have children who ride bikes or scooters near or around your truck? I have seen this exact gouging at that height occur thinking some a hole did it only to discover through research it came from the handlebar of a kids bike in a driveway incident.

If you don’t have kids, then now may be a good time to justify that front and rear camera we should all have in our trucks. Then you can submit that footage to the authorities or some of your 0331 buddies and you can go Frank Castle on whoever needs it.

I feel for you. I had my '93 Silverado about 2 weeks before someone decided to add contour to the paint on my hood. The scratch ran across the entire hood and the top of the passenger fender.

My first Tundra got a big scratch at exactly handlebar height about a month after I got it. My investigation got the name of the culprit. You may have heard of him or her. Goes by the name of “Not Me”.
That little shit is responsible for 99% of everything that’s happened at my house for decades. Let me know if anyone can locate him or her.

Sorry man. Whether intentional or accidental, it sucks. It's sad that people can't look at something and think to themselves "I disagree with that" and move on without damaging another's personal property. If it was accidental, it's too bad that person didn't have enough decency, respect and courage to own up to it. There are alot of people out there that should've been spit out, swallowed or left on the sheets.

You cant tell me they didnt know it happened.
    That is what bothers me.
Even a mistake is a mistake but make it right for the one it happened to.

Had a kid hit my car with his bike. Older teenager but he came to my door and asked if he could work it off as he had no money.
Was just a scratch and I could fix it so I said while I am fixing it he can come over and learn how to repair it.
His punishment was listening to me bitch about the heat

This is why I'm glad I got a dash cam. I'm sorry this happened, obviously someone was jealous of your nice truck. If it makes you feel any better, I accidentally keyed my own truck the other day :frusty:
