I'm in ND and would like to know where some of the nearest off-roading trails are. I understand there is some stuff that's in ND that could be considered off-roading but most of it that I'm aware of is either just mud bogging or winter stuff.

I'm looking for the nearest "desert style" driving or beginner type technical trails. Something where I can push the speed a little bit on a wide open chunk of ground or get acquainted with a technical trail and have some more experienced people in the area versus being by myself driving around in ND.

Where are you in ND? I'd head to either western ND or MT & WY. There's some decent trails in northern Minnesota as well.

I'm in bismarck. I spend a lot of time in the badlands but I've never seen much out there that makes me thing of good offroading. Driving the beat up gravel roads is about as close to high speed desert as i can get....except its hard and potholes and washouts are nasty. Not aware of any technical trails out there at all.

    To much to list:)
Most of that is Indian land that I know of. The farther west you go the better. In a few more months there might be enough snow to shake a stick at!!!:)

No "Indian land" in the badlands... Thats all along the Missouri River or east of it. Badlands are a mix of private and public.

    Just stating
just stating in the middle North and South lots of Indian land, and in N and S Kadota some of those flat roads go on for miles without no turns. I think they are still drilling in North Kadota somewhere up North too, Not much out there so your best bet is to go West. Good Luck:)

Not much for offroad trails in ND that I know of. Minnesota has a lot of width restrictions to side by side size....Best bet would Montana.
