It’s definitely a toyota warranty. I’m not planning to do any lifting or engine mods until after the warranty expires. I know it sounds boring.

It’s because Jennifer and the dealer she works for would rather sell a ton of warranties for 100 bucks over their price VS most dealerships that could care less about you and just try to screw you as hard as they can. I’ve bought from her and it was a great experience.

I just bought my truck, and has 14 miles on it. You can bet your ass Jennifer and i will be talking more very shortly. Get it while the deal is good, its a Toyota warranty, not 3rd party...the dealers wanted 2k for the 7/125 plan, i laughed and he asked "whats funny", i replied your "con skills" and said have a pleasant evening

Isn’t there a time frame in when the extended warranty needs to be purchased ?

I know , or could be wrong, but i believe the Toyota extra care platinum 0$ deductible has to be bought before the standard warranty expires. Im about to get it soon.

Anyone know if it's possible to continue an EXTENDED warranty before it ends?

The warranty I bought was through my CU and they offer a "modification" option for extra $$$ and that's what I went with...I've been lifted and have 35s while my truck is fully warranty-ed (spell?)

Get it from Jennifer. She has the best prices and offers discount for tundras.com members. I got the 8/125k for ~$1,500.

Double Cab or Crew Max? What’s the difference between TRD Sport and the XP Hunter/Gunner?

    As in changing a 5yr/100,000 at 4.5 years say 90k to a 8 yr/125,000? I don’t think that’s an option.

Yes. Must be purchased before your 3 years/36,000 bumper-to-bumper expires.

I've got a question for anyone who canceled and re-bought a warranty through Jennifer, Did they just send you a check in the mail, or did the roll the amount you paid back onto your loan?

I called my credit union and they said that most likely they will take the amount you paid for your extended warranty and send it to the loan holder and apply it to the loan amount. Then i would have to pay just buy the new warranty out of pocked. Not a big deal since i way overpaid for the warranty, but just a pain.

When I had a little portion of my EW left on my trade-in, I received a check from Toyota about 2 weeks later. I know. Not your exact situation but I thought I’d share anyways. Maybe it varies among lenders how they handle this situation. I can see their point of wanting their money back and applying the refund to your loan balance but at the same time, there’s the benefit of letting you decide what you wish to do with that money and they get to continue collecting interest on the initial loan balance for the life of the loan or until it’s paid off.

    -little different-
paid a lot MORE $$$$- then u guys are saying u paid!!
But I rolled my into my bank loan

I’m currently out of work 3-6 months because of foot surgery a week ago! So I can’t spend “new” money on new warranty right now

Has anyone that had original warranty rolled into bank loan- canceled high$$$ warranty got refund/ turn around and get “Jennifer “ warranty rolled back into original loan???

Dont feel bad, i got boned to the order of 2g's for a 7yr/7500 mile warranty. That same one from Jennifer would be around $800. F me.

My credit union said it would most likely be put back against the principal, but it sounded like each situation is different.

edit: i was already planning on emailing Jennifer, so i added your question about lumping it into your existing loan to my email.

I usually go back and forth with the dealer to get the lowest rate possible. Then when they offer the extended warranty I tell them I’ll only take it if it lowers my interest rate. ( I only buy used so I always have to play the game at finance)

This usually starts the negotiation portion again as I ask for a lower rate for each level of the warranty.
If I get a better rate I take it and cancel the next week. If there is no change in the rate I leave it off.

In Texas there is no fee to cancel in the first 30 days. After that it’s pro rated and cost $50 to cancel.
Once canceled the cost goes toward the balance unless you paid cash. Then you get a check back.

Your payment will be a little higher but that’s just more toward the principle each month after you canceled.

I just went through this last week. I get refunded about $1700. They say will be refunded back to lien holder. Might be easier since we financed through Toyota. Maybe I'll get surprised w a check in mail but they stated applied to principle.
Separately I bought new warranty through Jennifer. She'll email you a credit card authorization form. You complete except actual card info and call her with that so your info isn't floating around. They then mail your receipt and packet. Got mine already

Cheaper ain’t always better. The warranty I got through my CU covers my truck with the lift and modifications.

It is finished. I cancelled my original 6yr/100,000 miles Toyota Extra Care within 30 days of buying it. I then bought the 8yr/125,000 Toyota Extra Care Platinum $0 deductible from Jennifer and saved $$$$$. My new card came in and I just saw my TFS account credited.

What all did everyone do to cancel their EW's? I have a toyota extended warranty but i paid a lot more than what everyone else is saying they are paying with Jennifer.

Also what all did everyone include in the warranty? Just the warranty on partsor did you get the windshield, tires, and oil changes as well?
