Just spoke with David and needless to say he’s an awesome and really nice guy. I’m in for +3’s to go with his trd pro kit!

 

Heck yeah we are excited. I will be sending you the names and shackle sizes of the ones we have so far prob tonight or tomorrow. I have 29 names that are in so 1 more and Ill send it over then more can jump in as the thread gets updated with dates and cost. We can't thank you enough for doing this for the community. You really rock.

So will you post the names here also or send us some sort of confirmation so we can know we are in 100% ?? Tks !!

 

Now again I can only speculate but I would assume it would be like the first one he did. Either a new thread will be started or this one on page one will be updated with the date this group buy will close along with the discount and or other benefits we all will receive by getting in on this new group buy. Along with that information he will post all the names and their shackle request sizes for everyone to see and confirm that we have the right size they want. Once your name is posted you are in 100% unless for some reason you want to back out. As long as your name is on that list on the time and date he says it closes you will receive the group buy benefits.

Awesome. Had +2's on my '14. Guess I'll do it on the '19 as well. Put me down for +3's , poly bushings for the front leaf eyelet and 3 shims. Thanks!!

 

that's awesome! I have 100% the exact same set up lol. 1.9 in front, shim on the left side, and CB +1s with 5100s. What size tire is that, and did you have any rubbing?

No I only posted that yesterday haha. I don’t work that fast. It may be a while and it doesn’t concern me much. Never hear it and it’s very minimal. I do have the pro shocks that are extended an inch. So my axle droops that much more.

 

My bad I just noticed that
I have the 5160 (extended travel) in the rear with the plus 2 and mine hit bad! Word on the street is David is working on some sort of drop bracket that is not only height adjustable but can pre-load the sway bar if you want. I was hoping to have it all sorted before the Tundra run next Sat but doesn't look like it. Although if its as quality as the rest of his stuff it should be worth the wait. I might just rotate the brackets on the axle until then.

 

Not sure of the extension. I personally along with others are adding to their order as well but this may just apply to the shackles themself

 

Either way Im in for the +3.

 

I’ll probably wait for that! I remember him saying something about that and it completely slipped my mind.

 

Would this be an issue with just the smallest lift shackle and the sway bar?

 

I can’t say. Mine didn’t hit at all stock. I have +2’s so I would say +1’s will come close at least. It’s hard to tell how much mine hit by or how much further my axle would drop if it wasn’t for the leaves touching the edge of my sway bar.

Also it could be a whole nother story if you are using stock length shocks.

 

Are we saying the +2 and +3 shackles aren’t compatible with the rear sway bar? I plan on getting 5160 in the rear as well and it’s concerning that these items wouldn’t work together. Any further clarification is much appreciated.

 

What's the "TRD Pro" kit? Didn't see anything on the site about it.

 

No. I would say that the rear sway bar is not compatible with rear extended travel. No matter what shackles you get, if they’re longer they’ll most likely hit. Same with add a leaf, so you have to modify it in some way. If you’re riding around on the street or light off-road you’ll never even notice. It’s only near full droop you’ll notice it. I love mine and off-road pretty hard and haven’t had them actually hit yet. Although I’ll fix it at some point, it’s really not that big of a deal yet.

So you have the TRD sway bar? Just making sure. I love the sway bar. Don't want to lose it but I'm searching for a little better ride.

Do the shackles really make that much difference? Is that because the OEMs allow too much movement?
