Hi I have a 2008 Tundra 5.7 Limited. I ordered Akebono brake pads before much reasearch. I need new front rotors. I tow a travel trailer often, what is a good drilled and slotted rotor for the price? I have looked at too many and now more confused than ever, thanks

I went with oem because first set lasted 97K. I do not tow. Good luck. D

Welcome from WI. I recently did my brakes and stuck with OEM rotors because of how well the first ones held up. For drilled and slotted though. I would be looking at EBC or Stop Tech.

I agree i just got ebc brake the rotors were powercoated black which is amazing. And drill and slotted rotors are not good for trucks because they warp so easy. Heres my setup. 20190526_151839.jpg

Heard really good things about the powerstop pads and rotors.

I'd stay away from drilled. I went with Brembo rotors & Toyota Ceramic pads. They've been great so far.

I have not had time to install them yet but I went with the Powerstop rotors and I had already purchased the Akebono pads. We'll see how they are and I'll report back.

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
I just installed Powerstop slotted/drilled rotors and pad a couple weeks ago. Super happy!
Will aggressively stop on a dime when I need to and they look great too.

The rear rotors were a couple of millimeters bigger and I had to bend the rear dust pan back. I drove 15 feet and heard an unbelievable loud screech. Took the rear tires off again and the back of the rotors were juuust rubbing against it.
