This For Real?!! $42K 2019 Trd Pro

Oh I know, I bought a new 4runner trd off road premium+kdss last year. Luckily I knew the salesman. He was upfront and broke down everything $38k, $42 out the door(fiances client's dad lol)

I wanted a Tacoma but my fiance needed a daily driver so we "settled". She works in marijuana compliance.... Some of her clients live in isolated places here in CO. I needed peace of mind while shes traveling. We also use it to for our camping trips.

Any she gets to drive the runner every day and I took her old Yaris... For now lol, I work in the city so it's practical.

Happy wife happy life, one day I'll get my truck. Got my eyes on a tundra these next few years.

 

Still sunshine on the parade over here. "A couple months ago" vs my purchase 1 year ago, and with the additions mine came with (leveling kit, XD Rockstars, Open Country ATs, and Tri Fold bed Tonneau cover), plus with the high demand here in CO, I'm still happy with it - Nice find in TN tho!

problem is there are no rebates (except the college grad and veteran one) on Pros and never have been

 

So did anyone contact the dealer?
As of this moment the truck is still listed on the site and at the 42k price.
Sweet deal for anyone looking for a pro.

 

I did. It's used. But seems legit. I'm sure there are some taxes and fees. Anyone interested should find out if any work was needed.

Was told it was traded in because the owner needed a more family friendly vehicle.

 

Weird they are advertising it as new and the odo shows only 12 miles.

Yeah idk, I'll stick to my local dealer. Something is definitely off about this listing.

Not sure if typos or a misleading add. Either way if they can't get the details right on the listing who knows what else has been overlooked.

Here’s the law. Although violating it is a misdemeanor punishable by 25-1000 dollar fine. Sure they would rather pay that then give the truck up for 10 grand less.

 

I got mine 2013 Limited with 27k with 6 inch lift, 35's toyo tires led lights interior/ exterior, led light bars, bull bar, remote dual exhaust cut offs, running bars, rhino lined, and custom interior seating for 30k. Now that was one hell of a deal so I thought

In Houston in the 80s there was a dealer in North Houston and a few other but the example was made of the dealer in North Houston. The bait and switch is no longer tolerated. That is plain BS. They tried to pull a little something like that on me sending me an email that said they will pay me more for my truck than what it books for so did all of the appraisal stuff then I showed the email. That email lead into a more detailed discussion. They could have paid ten bucks more and been legal but we came to two thousand more and we all were still friends!! I don’t like dealing with any of them. Luckily I have made a friend back in 08 and he stayed a long time at one place and now works for a different Toyota dealer even closer to me. I buy from him but service at our old Toyota dealer.!!

 

That price would be nice.. The TRD PRO in PR is $64,000.00

 

~$42k is base MSRP for a CM 4x4 SR5. That ad is just a hook. Gotta pay more for options.

I had a similar experience. It was like 8 grand under MSRP everything checked out I drive an hour to sign papers and they added like $7500 in additional fees I think they’re still sending me emails about new “deals”

 

When I was in the market for a TRD Pro, a nearby dealership applied the rebates to the TRD Pro. After contacting them the told me "Oops our mistake. The rebates don't apply on the TRD Pro. Price is MSRP".
Typically dealer games....similar to applying every possible rebate to the sale price.

 

yep , the shady ones do that a lot. Then you get in there or get a price quote and they say well you don't qualify for that rebate . At that time I just say well then you don't qualify to make the sale to me.
