I have the 7200NEX, not the 1550NEX... So far I'm just ok with it. I've already had multiple problems with it freezing or not starting up. Its a pain in the butt to have to restart the truck to get it to work.

yes I just had one installed yesterday. So far very pleased as it sounds great compared to my factory radio.

How does it look installed? Do your steering wheel controls work? Do you have XM/Sirius ? If so how is that working as I believe a new tuner is required. Crutchfield gave me a price fr everything at 530 shipped thats the HU, XM tuner, wiring harnesses and connectors and the steering wheel and antenna wires. I am unsure if I want to tackle the DIY install or pay someone to do it.

i will try to upload a pic when I can, but it looks like it belongs there. I got the brushed aluminum faceplate. All my steering controls
work. The shop that installed it did not have the xm tuner but said they would install it no labor when they got one. I would recommend the Maestro interface if you want factory controls to work seamlessly. I paid 668. including the interface and installation. I am tech savvy but as this was a new truck, I did not want to tackle this job.

I haven't, but after reading this plan to!

As for the install, I did it myself and wouldn't recommend it... The Maestro unit, Maestro harness and factory plugs were not fun to figure out! I spent more time on Youtube than I care to admit!!!
