    Just wondering what this is?

Seems as if it’s part of the alarm system?

There’s also a button underneath it... what does that do?

The connector def goes into that device.

That is exactly what it is.
Plugged it in and the alarm symbol started blinking.

Tested the alarm and now i have alarm...

The dealer was trying to charge me for it and I declined but all they did was unhook the connector from the device.

Is that all they do? I have the same thing and the dealer wanted to charge $850 to activate the alarm and I declined then when finishing up paperwork they offered $300 still declined. I hate alarms anyways tbh

If you plug the connector into the back your alarm should start working. I figure its already there so i'll use it.

Yes, they do. Just need to turn it on with Techstream, if you like your can also install the glass breakage sensor that comes with the higher level trucks.

Dealers just install those KARR things to rip people off. Truck has an alarm built in.
