I would contact Toytec and see what they say. I ordered my Eibach kit 2 weeks prior to them being removed from the Toytec website. I called and was able to swap the Eibach coilovers for the BOSS coilovers. Of course I had to pay the difference but Toytec was very understanding and worked with me a bit.

You liked the ride better with the Fatbobs over the Toytecs? I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with my truck to replace the ReadyLift 3/2 spacer and block kit.

How is the ride with the Boss and shackles compared to stock since you have ran them for a few days now?

The FatBobs coilovers are definitely firmer but they take the bumps better in my opinion. Not to mention they're adjustable with 2 spanner wrenches so you can dial in your height. I've heard people say they're at least as good as a 5100 if not better. Happy with them so far but we'll see long term.

Thanks. Toytec has gone dark after I asked what they recommend I do with my lift kit (I told them about the winch and they did say the springs would not support the extra weight).

So, anyone got a clue on what springs to use with a roughly 200-300lb bumper on the front? Can they be used on the Toytec shocks I have?

I bought the eibach kit back in August, and I’m not getting the advertised lift...

    I haven’t gotten a resolution yet either...

I finally got a refund in the last few days. I learned my lesson; I'll never buy anything else from Toytec.

@Tundra234 The ride is good. Fronts are still holding at 3 1/2 inches of lift and a little firmer than stock. Rear feels really good.

Sounds good. I'm about to pull the trigger on them. Boss coils, Boss rear shocks, Toytec shackles at 1.5, and 1/2 block if needed for the final level.

Sounds good. I did not due the 1/2 block. The shackles provided exactly 1.5 inches of lift. I still have a slight rake of about 3/4 of an inch to an inch higher in the rear.

I know the FatBob coilovers come with a 700lb rated spring and I think Eibach was using the 600lb and that's where the problems came in. Plus, Fat Boybs, has their version and ones with Bilstein if you want for $100 more. Plus, they are adjustable so you can fine tune. Ordering mine today. PS - I'v heard their version is just as good as the Bilsteins.

Ok so what's the verdict? My head feels huge from trying to take in all of this info and other postings about 3/1 lifts. lol

I've narrowed it down to Fat Bob's coilovers and 5100 rears with shackles from ToyTec. Or should I just go with ToyTec BOSS kit? I want to maintain as close a ride quality due to long trips with the family.

I'm going with the full Boss kit on mine with shackles in the rear. The non adjustable 3/1 kits had issues when Eibach reworked their springs. The affected items were pulled from the sites. Eibach is working on a correction. The adjustable kits such as the Boss were not affected.

Ok that makes much more sense now. Hmm well I don't know which road to go down now. I'd like to save a bit of money if I can do some mix and match.
Then as far as ride quality I've heard that its harder but still good, hard but takes bumps well, ride is the same.
So what is the overall consensus of ride quality?

Of the Toytecs, the Boss is supposed to be the best ride. One member on here went from Toytecs to Fatbobs and said the Fatbobs were a little stiffer.

FatBobs are likely stiffer but I wouldn't pay the $960 for the BOSS setup that's marginally better. They're almost twice as expensive.

FatBobs + 5100s in rear + Total Chaos 3/4 shackles. You'll be golden. If the ride is too harsh on the FatBobs, it's easy to lower them down a bit...

Don't forget to get poly bushings for the shackle.

About the Toytec shackles..they're not guaranteed to clear the bed bolts above the shackle in the middle setting so you may have to grind them down (varies truck to truck)...which is more work for you if you're doing it yourself, similarly, that's likely something that someone would overlook if you pay them to do it. None of the other aftermarket shackles have that problem.

The Toytec BOSS kit rides great both on and off-road!!! I have never FatBob’s so I can’t compare. Both seem to be good products. Regarding the Toytec shackles, they are adjustable between 1 and 1.5 inches. I have heard people having to cut or grind down the rear bed bolts with the shackles at the 1 inch setting. I’m at the 1.5 setting and have no issues. @Mo_Martz I have also looked at the Bilstein 6112 kit from Boss 4x4’s. That seems to be a good deal also.

Bad ass! Thanks for all of the info guys! Looks like I'll be ordering some truck porn today. Didn't mean to hijack the thread but the timing was great since I was about to buy a kit this week. Huge thanks again fellas!

The Boss 4x4 kit doesnt look like it comes with poly bushings on the shackles. Is that going to be a show stopper?

@Mo_Martz I did not do the poly bushings as I heard they are a pain in the a.. to remove. I did use the top bushings that came with my shackles. Rides like stock if not better. What have you narrowed it down to?

I think that I'm gonna go with the Boss 4x4 3/1 kit with the 6112s. The 6112s ride smoother than the 5110s right?

6112 over the 5100 all day!!!!!!!! I'm sure Boss 4x4's can add the poly bushings to your order for a small price. I want to say they are $15-$25 extra.

The stock bushings aren't that hard to remove if you have the tools and it's a newer truck. Rent a bearing puller kit and use an impact; it only took me about 5 minutes per bushing.
