Does the 2019 Tundra still offer the ability to customize the entune startup screen. The Youtube video posted in 2016 (I realize video was for Tacoma) didn't help.

Been trying to actually do this in my '15 with no luck. I've formatted the drive every which way, ensured all folders are named properly, but the radio just won't recognize the USB stick.

Has anyone done this recently? I'm wondering if it's my USB stick itself, or if the feature was removed in a recent update.

I have no problem with the USB, but can't find the options in the setup anywhere. Maybe this really cool feature has been disabled/discontinued (would really suck).

It works for Gen3. Only way to see the selected display off image is to select “display off” on an obscure menu, perhaps for display or home. I will edit when Ihave a chance. Startup works fine, you just have to follow the tips (folder name is critical).

Thanks for confirming. I'll try another stick, and from a Windows system. Maybe the macOS formatting utility isn't doing the trick.

I was able to do it in my 2019 as well. No problem. I might be the drive you are using.

Mine doesn't even show the menu options in the settings. I haven't given up, but do I have to update the system or anything prior to performing the task at hand? My Tundra is a 2019, less than 1600 miles on it.

Apparently, I haven't the correct stereo system for this feature. As stated before, my settings menu doesn't even offer the possibility. DANG! I have the Entune Audio system, but the "settings" - "general" options do not include the image transfer options. I'm not receiving error messages or anything, there just isn't a menu option to perform the task.

2019 Tundra SR - Midnight Black Metallic/graphite interior - Entune Audio 6.1" Touch Screen w/Backup Camera, AM/FM/CD, BT Phone

I've added a bed cover, the bed step, and just added bed lights for under the cover. Love the truck, but want to personalize the startup screen to make it more "mine". Silly I know, but it is my very first "brand new" truck.

Good one for a first "brand new" truck. My first brand new truck was a 1984 Ford Bronco II; it was actually a very good vehicle. I think the Tundra is lots better, though.

Only thing I can suggest is to login/register for the Toyota owners site and download the Tundra Multimedia Manual in pdf. Look at pages beginning page 60 through page 61. It does not seem to say only premium or JBL can do it.

This option is not in the menu for my 2020 Platinum. Any idea where it went?

Cant find it in my 2020 SR5 either. I did this for my wife's 2019 highlander, and she loved it.

Was excited to do this in my 2020 when I bought it a year ago. I struck out. You guys are validating it’s not possible. :(

I have done the startup image to both my Tundra and my 4runner with no problem. I would like to know if there is any way to make the startup image last longer? On the 4runner, it barely lasts long enough to tell what it is.
