I'd definitely try some heavy duty velcro. I had weathertech in my 4runner and had no problems with them. I heard about them sliding in the Tundra and other vehicles . So I ended up with Maxpider mats and they don't move at all.

Does weathertech not have the little anchor that screws in to the carpet?

Mine still slides after putting a little velcro on it. I think you need to add alot. Will be adding more to mine eventually.

Oh, I remember reading about someone contacting Weathertech and they sent him some free Velcro. I personally think it's unacceptable to pay a couple hundred bucks for mats and have to put Velcro on it.

great CS from weathertech. They are sending me velcro.

Thank you for contacting WeatherTech Direct, LLC. Since there is no danger of the passenger side sliding into the accelerator, Toyota didn't put retentions on the passenger side. We have two options you can consider. We can send you two little auger hooks that screw into the carpeting, right above the top of the liner, along the firewall. They will act as a sort of "stopper" that will hold the liner in place. If you are not happy with that option, I can send you a couple of strips of Velcro. You can adhere the side with the teeth to the back of the liner. That should grip the carpet. Let me know what you decide.

Def velcro. I used some cheap stuff just to give the rear mat a cleaner look.

Was thinking if using velcro would it rip up the carpet fabric over time?
