My goat barn project is moving right along. Painters hit the exterior all painted. The standing seam metal roof is almost done. I’ve got the metal wainscoting paneling and trim going on next week. I had to get 500’ linear feet of Rocksaw work done for the new electrical and water lines. I've got the new shutters and barn doors being built now for the barn. Should have this project all wrapped up in the next couple weeks. 8FCFF832-1F8B-4C22-B644-757CFDC5F4E7.jpg

Lol. Thank you! I’ll be doing a 5,000 square foot car barn for this client later on. It will have a private car wash and detail bay.

Finally finished the hot tub deck. Just wanted something small enough to sit on when you’re hot. Now I can finally finish landscaping the bed!

And the shop still isn’t finished

So rookie question, how do you keep a nice cut line between grass and a mulch bed? I've tried a couple of time but it always winds up looking like crap when I'm done.

Those are the clamps for the metal roof panels. They are in the process of fastening the panels down. The final step they do is run a seamer across all the panels to seal the seams together. So those are all tools used during the installation process.

I cut a trench 4 inches deep and wide, about that size anyway and fill it with mulch. I go along it with the weed whacker every week but you're right it doesnt always look great after a few weeks. Sometimes I'll re-edge it during the mid summer.
If I had the money I'd put 12x8x4 inch granite cobblestones in as a boarder. I have done that to several of my garden edges and it's my favorite look. Don't bother with plastic edging, use either stone or even 6" tall steel edging.
Pic shows stone in the garden bed but my front gardens are mulched and I used cobbles. Only reason I was able to use cobblestone was I got a ton for free and I repurposed a good amount that was used elsewhere on my property.

Fawk. I think the first mow between the back field, the front field, and the yard was 7hours. I haven’t done it again since LOL
I’m teaching Paisley (my 11yr old girl) to mow on the rider this year. The seat finally registers her. Next year she might be able to push in the clutch on the tractor, I’m hoping. She’s eager to drive it lol. And when she does, my field mowing problem is over :D

Used some old pallets and scrap wood laying around to make a raised veggie garden. Don't be fooled, it took me 2 pretty good truck loads of dirt and compost from the town dump to fill it all in. I'm hoping stuff grows better than in the pots on the deck I usually do.
I planted Bush cucumbers that I will trellis, snap peas also will be trellised. One heirloom tomato, one grape tomato, a jalepeno, orange sweet peppers, basil, and zucchini. Hoping everything grows.

    Sorry, but no, it doesn't.

For it to count you need to kill it with one of those cool electric bug killing zapper tennis racket looking things from Harbor Freight.
